As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for engaging regularly with healthcare professionals to drive awareness and support the promotion of the company’s products.
You will maintain a strong and up-to-date knowledge of the product portfolio, serving as a trusted source of information and building lasting professional relationships within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute an effective and objective driven call plan.
Utilize your customer focused selling skills in your presentations and keep post call notes to assist with pre-call planning.
Distribute prescriptions generating samples to healthcare practitioners following company guidelines.
Utilize marketing tools for maximum impact in the territory.
Utilize reporting tools provided to achieve territorial objectives.
Communicate and collaborate with the Regional Manager on objectives.
Act as a contact between Zolon and its existing and potential markets.
Build business relationships with customers in the territory.
Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
Prospect for new business opportunities and evaluate the sales potential of existing customers.
Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
Record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office.
Remain in compliance with Pharmacist council laws and regulations.
Attend and participate in monthly plan of action (POA) meetings (regional meetings).
Requirements
Graduate of pharmacy/Biological sciences from a reputable university.
1 -3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Must be ready to work in any part of Nigeria.

Demonstrated effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as directed.
Must be creative, proactive, demonstrate personal initiative and work with minimal supervision.

Have computer and technology skills, including independent ability in sending and managing email, completing internet research, performing business analytics, developing and delivering clear, well-written and grammatically correct communications, and preparing presentations.
Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
