    Warehouse Supervisor

    Role Positioning and Objectives

    • To proactively control all leaf warehouse operations such as receipts, issues and storage, thereby ensure just in time availability of leaf critical to the support of manufacturing requirement, Posting into SAP and generate reports as and when required for management decisions.

    What You Will Be Accountable For

    • Ensure proper stock monitoring system to achieve 0% stock loss due to pilferage and record manipulation.
    • Control the storage and handling of stock with no materials loss, damaged or obsolescence,
    • Control stock movement through effective use of materials handling equipment with no damaged.
    • Control all leaf warehouse functions to maintain security, proper storage and handling of leaf.
    • To develop reports and ensure data integrity through SAP for management planning.
    • Ensure strict adherence of EHS guidelines and housekeeping procedures within leaf warehouses.
    • Provide purposeful leadership to enhance effective skills development of subordinate for high performance and career enhancement.
    • Ensure implementation of effective stock cycle counts.
    • Enforcement of compliance with BAT EHS guidelines in all leaf warehouse activities.
    • Management of records in leaf warehouse.
    • Ensure that leaf Planner /blender is updated with latest reports so that required planning can be done.
    • Maintain good working relationships across the supply chain, supporting the functions / departments involved with information and guidance.
    • Maintain good working relationship with PMD, Planning and finance to achieve seamless flow of information.

    Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

    • A B.Sc or HND from any reputable institution (in any field) would be of help. In addition, the person shall be expected to possess the necessary leadership capability skills.
    • Experience in an FMCG handling large number of SKUs preferably with a manufacturing site sufficient to demonstrate understanding of product differentiations and manufacturing constraints/implications.
    • Effective use of SAP (Material Management and general stock management in SAP).
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and understanding of internal information flows.
    • Good understanding of inventory management.
    • Good knowledge of materials identification and blend recipe.
    • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, work independently and deliver according to defined deadlines.
    • Computer literacy sufficient to be able to analyse and report data
    • Sound Knowledge of Word processing, Spreadsheet and power point

    Warehouse Executive

    Role Positioning and Objectives

    What You Will Be Accountable For

    • Management of records in the warehouse and ensure FIFO principles are applied
    • Sound working relationship with our major customer ( GBNL )
    • Maintain good working relationships with other departments.
    • Maintain good working relationship with all other warehousing staff.
    • Improve ways of managing contractor staff so as to minimise cost.

    Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

    • HND / BSc. Upper credit  in Purchasing & Supply or any other  related field
    • Good understanding of warehousing management systems
    • At least 4 year experience in a FMCG warehouse.
    • Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and understanding of internal information flows.
    • Ability to operate across all hierarchy levels, providing information and support as required.
    • Good inter-personal communication skills.
    • Sound Analytical skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, work independently and deliver according to defined deadlines.

    EHS Warehouse Coordinator

    Role Positioning And Objectives

    • This work involves the controlling, reporting, or maintaining of the workspace through EHS procedures within the Logistics Department in order to support the manufacturing department to manufacture products on time and in full according to specified quality standards and at optimum cost.

    What You Will Be Accountable For

    • Finalize infestation procedure in line with best practice and present a copy to warehouse manager.
    • Daily report on Temperature & Humidity of warehouses.
    • Daily report of beetle level/EHS compliance in all warehouses.
    • Carrying out induction training for all new contract employees.
    • Coordination of monthly MHE and EHS warehouse meeting.
    • Daily inspection of the warehouse premises for identification of unusual activities/situations that may be regarded as potential hazards.
    • Act as EHS and housekeeping coordinator for the warehouses.
    • To introduce effective coaching of all warehouse staff on infestation/EHS in warehouses.
    • Identify, develop and coach potential successors.
    • Produce document sign by warehouse staff on EHS/Infestation awareness.
    • Maintain good relationship with EHS department.
    • Maintain good relationship with quality assurance department.
    • Maintain good working relationship with all other warehousing staff.
    • Design and implement the best ways of monitoring infestation in warehouses.
    • Come out with the BAT best practice in combat beetle infestation warehouse.
    • Maintain a close relationship with agency managing off site warehouses, logistics and labor service providers.

    Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

    • Higher National Diploma or B.Chs. Degree in any numerical or financial courses.
    • 2-3 years of experience in factory plant, preferably FMCG and EHS.
    • NYSC completed.
    • EHS courses would represent an added advantage.
    • Good Microsoft Office knowledge with basic presentation skills.
    • Sound knowledge and understanding of the warehousing processes.
    • Good inter-personal communication skills.
    • Sound Analytical skills and ability to work with figures.
    • Ability to prioritize workloads, under pressure, multi-task, work independently and deliver according to defined deadlines.

    Mechanical Technician - Utilities

    Role Positioning And Objectives

    • The job holder will be involved in the operating, controlling, monitoring and maintenance of Engineering/Utilities equipment within the Engineering Department in order to support the manufacture of products on time and in full according to specified quality standards and at optimum cost.

    What You Will Be Accountable For

    • Operate assigned Utilities/Engineering equipment according to the standard operating procedures to achieve target equipment availability and efficiency
    • Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment following standard general engineering and BAT standard practices to keep them in base con
    • Check that equipment have a maintenance plan/schedule in conformance to manufacturer’s standards.
    • Conduct daily and weekly cleaning, inspection and lubrication maintenance schedule according to prescribed procedures to ensure efficient machine performance.
    • Complete relevant documents/checklists as required in order to ensure availability of accurate maintenance and consumption data.
    • Apply EHS procedures and good housekeeping practices in order to prevent personal injuries and damage to equipment.
    • Ensure a prompt end of shift report of all Technical issues preventing the machines in his domain from achieving optimum performance.
    • Carry out a comprehensive maintenance job with necessary supervision and of other team members and equipment specialists to achieve this aim.
    • Have a high level of knowledge and hands-on skills in operating a range of utility equipment (pumps, generators, compressors, boiler).
    • Perform RCAs of major failures in assigned utility plants
    • Provide comprehensive daily report and update on all customers’ requests or complaints for the assigned plant or shift.
    • Drive the right attitude throughout the department lead by example and display high level of responsibility.

    Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

    • Minimum of OND in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related course
    • Minimum of three years’ experience working with Utility Equipment (Power Generation, Air Compression, Steam Boilers, Water/Oil, Pumping Stations, Water Treatment, Vacuum Systems, HVAC Systems), of which at least two has been spent at an FMCG
    • Sound knowledge in the assembly of intricate parts with allowable tolerance limits.
    • Ability to read and apply mechanical drawings and schematics as it relates to machine parts.
    • Ability to sketch mechanical designs
    • Ability to draft spare parts and consumables list for equipment maintenance
    • Basic Knowledge of Costing is required.
