    Treasury Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Treasury Manager (TM), reporting to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), is responsible for managing the organization's core treasury functions. This includes determining optimal debt and equity levels and strategic fundraising for corporate growth; ensuring daily cash flow and liquidity management; and actively identifying and mitigating key financial risks, such as foreign exchange, commodity price, interest rate, and counterparty risk.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The TM is responsible for an innovative treasury approach to eliminate financial loss and ensure operational continuity by managing working capital. Key duties include:

    • Daily cash flow reporting and liquidity management.
    • Monthly and quarterly financial report preparation for management and the Board.
    • Proactive tax planning and ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory obligations.
    • Cost management, inventory management, and input into annual audit processes.
    • Handling all bank transactions, reconciliations, sales validation, and accounts reconciliation.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related treasury or financial role.
    • Prior experience in financial services and daily cash flow analysis is required.
    • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is prioritized.

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to identify and articulate key business and macroeconomic risks.
    • Ability to prepare financial forecasts.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
    • Strong proficiency with Sage™ accounting software.
    • Good knowledge of cash handling and excellent customer service

    Deputy Finance Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Deputy Finance Manager (DFM) is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Finance Manager (FM) and indirectly to the CFO. The DFM is primarily responsible for daily financial control, including meticulous Balance Sheet management (A/R, A/P, cash, inventory, fixed assets, accruals) and P&L management (revenue and cost control across multiple platforms). The role also involves supporting the tax team, preparing monthly and annual budgets, and generating frequent financial reports (weekly, monthly, annual).

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The DFM is tasked with ensuring minimal to zero discrepancies in ledgers and timely reporting. Key duties include:

    • Performing daily reconciliations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash, and inventory.
    • Managing revenue reconciliations across all internal platforms (Sage™, Kita, bank accounts).
    • Ensuring the periodic remittance of all statutory deductions (VAT, WHT, CIT, etc.).
    • Being fully engaged in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
    • Converting sales orders into invoices, attending to bank correspondences, and filing necessary bank documents.
    • Providing support to the Finance Manager during periodic audits and securing all relevant company documentation.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
    • 2–3 years of experience in a related role.
    • ACCA or ICAN qualification achieved or currently "in view" (in progress).
    • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry will be prioritized.

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Must demonstrate high integrity and be driven to ensure no errors in financial reporting.
    • Strong knowledge and use of MS Word and Excel.
    • Strong proficiency in the use of Sage™ accounting software.
    • Good knowledge in cash handling, along with strong communication and management skills.
