    Trail Station Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Trial Station Officer is responsible for managing product trials, maintaining accurate records, assisting in seed sampling, and ensuring proper crop protection and production.
    • The role also involves organizing field demonstration events, conducting product training, and maintaining trial station assets.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Manage product trials at the trial station to evaluate seed performance.
    • Maintain technical data records and photo documentation of trials.
    • Submit technical data reports to the Trial Station Supervisor for analysis.
    • Conduct Mega Field Days at the Model Farm to showcase product performance.
    • Assist in organizing demonstration events for stakeholders, including government officials and key dealers.
    • Assist in operations within the seed sampling room to ensure quality compliance.
    • Conduct product training for new staff and trainee engineers on seed technology and trial station protocols.
    • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of trial station assets and equipment.
    • Implement crop protection and production measures to enhance trial outcomes.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with 2 - 8 years of experience.

    Fleet Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • A Fleet Officer performs many organizational and management tasks to monitor, maintain and improve a company’s transportation processes. 

    Their duties and responsibilities include:

    • Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet
    • Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles
    • Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
    • Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules
    • Coordinating Drivers and on-staff maintenance professionals when setting employee schedules
    • Managing vehicle licensure and registration
    • Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training
    • Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices
    • Searching for, hiring and training new Drivers
    • Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress
    • Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND with 1 - 4 years experience.
