    Technical Sales Engineer - Heavy Duty Equipment

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • As a technical sales engineer, you'll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.

    Responsibilities
    As a technical sales engineer, you'll need to:

    • Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services (Heavy-duty equipment e.g trucks) and maximise client potential in designated regions
    • Develop long-term relationships with clients, by managing and interpreting their requirements
    • persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
    • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
    • Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts
    • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
    • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required
    • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
    • Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment.
    • Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and facilities.
    • Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.

    Requirements
    Education and Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
    • Previous experience managing the company’s equipment and technical sales.

    Required Skills / Abilities:

    • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment.
    • Ability to maintain basic records and warranties.
    • Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
    • Scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure that equipment is in good working condition at all times
    • Inspecting equipment to make sure that it meets safety regulations and standards of quality

    Facility Maintenance Officer

    Location: Garki Area II, Abuja (FCT)

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.
    • He/she will make sure that all of the equipment in an office, building, or landscape is taken care of.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, schedule, and perform preventative and ongoing maintenance tasks for the purpose of ensuring equipment is in proper working condition.
    • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
    • Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
    • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
    • Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)
    • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
    • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
    • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
    • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
    • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

    Requirements

    • OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree
    • Proven experience as a facility officer or such relevant position.
    • Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing.
    • Analytical, problem-solving skills and decision-making.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good analytical or critical thinking skills.
    • Must bewell organized, detailed and customer (internal and external) oriented.

    Salary
    N50,000 - N60,000 Monthly.
