    Technical Assistant - Prevention, Care & Treatment

    Job Description

    • Will provide support and innovative strategies for HIV case finding enrolment and initiation of all positive clients at the facility and community, support Sexual Network Testing (SNT) services; elicitation of partners, documentation of contacts of all index clients and HIV testing to all eligible contacts/partners of Index clients.
    • He/she will support documentation of all concerned interventions in the recommended Data Collections Tools (SNT/Tracking/VL Registers, MSFs) and reporting for general and priority population in the supported facility, monitor and support active referrals of positive clients to treatment through escort services, ensure Case Managers maintain a log of all assigned clients contacts (descriptive addresses and phone numbers) and keep comprehensive records of clinic appointments and interventions carried out to support them on retention.
    • Also, the TA-PCT will ensure regular monitoring of treatment adherence, tracking defaulting / lost to follow up clients and facilitate their return to care, support scale-up of Differentiated Service Delivery (DSD) models for stable clients via sensitization and orientation of HCWs and patients and institutionalize KYC (Know Your Client) principles in case management amongst Case Managers.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • HND, B.Sc in a Medical field or Biological Sciences with 2 to 5 years post NYSC experience in program/project management.

    Technical Assistant - Key Population

    Job Description

    • Will contribute to the development of data collection tools for KPs (HTS, ART and Prevention for Positives). Ensure effective mobilization /sensitization of the respective communities of assignment on HIV/AIDS and prevention among key population, work in each zone/cluster to provide HTS and support the HIVST for the KP subgroup and ensure provision of HIV Testing Services (HTS) for all KPs in the community.
    • Also, he/she will ensure enrolment and ART initiation of all identified KPs, provide treatment education, adherence counselling and support to all KPs who tested positive, elicit and document contacts of all positive KPs and maintain a log of all clients reached during outreaches, keeping comprehensive records of all interventions.

    Technical Assistant - Laboratory Services

    Job Description

    • Technical Assistant - Laboratory Services will perform Laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support provision of the continuum of HIV treatment services, prepare Dried Tube Specimen (DTS) panels for IQC and EQA (Proficiency testing) to support HTS on the project.
    • He/she will carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses, preparing specimens and samples, maintaining and operating standard Laboratory equipment.

    Technical Assistant - AGYW

    Job Description

    • Will provide supervisory roles to AYP/AGYW Champions to ensure optimized results, conduct mentorship and supportive supervision to the AYP Case managers and AGYW Champions/CTs across sites by liaising with Cluster Leads.
    • He/she will coordinate all AYP/AGYW activities in the work plan are timely implemented, reported, and retired, provide innovative strategies to the AGYW Champions/CTs to achieve AGYW intervention targets and ensure 100% enrolment and ART initiation of all new HIV positive Clients identified via AGYW interventions.
    • Also, he/she will support the AYP Case Managers to provide appointment reminder, tracking and adherence counselling to Pediatrics and Adolescent LHIV, support documentation of all interventions in the recommended Data Collections Tools (HIV prevention Register, MSFs) and reporting, maintain daily, weekly, and monthly data of AYP/AGYW achievement using Accountability Matrix template and make a presentation on AYP/AGYW activities in the GF NAHI project when called upon.

    Technical Assistant - PSM & Logistics

    Job Description

    • Will support the state and LGA logistics management coordinating unit (LMCU) and facilities to generate quality and timely bi-monthly CRRF/PPR reports and ensure entry into NHLMIS Platform, provide periodic DSD and Logistics reports to STO Logistics and follow up on identified priority action points for system improvement across supported sites.
    • He/she will ensure uninterrupted availability of ARVs, RTKs, and Lab consumables for supported facilities, private hospitals, and community ART management teams, carry out redistribution of HIV/AIDs commodities across facilities to prevent stock out and conduct physical assessment of HIV/AIDs commodities in store to prevent expiration and wastage.
    • The TA-PSM & Logistics will submit monthly stock status tracker (MSST) report to the STO PSM, ensure availability and proper usage of LMIS tools including the DSD monitoring registers and participate in CQIs and Cluster Review meetings as an avenue for capacity building for facility staff.

    Technical Assistant - Psychological Services

    Responsibilities

    • Will work within a multidisciplinary team in the OSS according to the Case management, and biopsychosocial approach, conduct screening and assessment of beneficiaries and develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans according to their needs.
    • Provide psychoeducation to beneficiaries and their families, psychological support and counselling services to beneficiaries and their families and provide family support when needed.
    • He/she will facilitate group therapy and support group sessions in coordination with the multidisciplinary team, conduct home visits to provide further psycho-social support when needed and organize community rehabilitation and awareness activities for beneficiaries and their families in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

    Security Officer

    Job Description

    • Security Officer will be responsible for providing security advisory to staff across the entire GF NAHI Grant implementation states to minimize staff exposure to security risk and mitigate any harm to staff or program property.
    • He/she will develop and implement security management plan and security protocols for AHNi state offices, conduct regular security risk assessments in line with minimum operation requirements, conduct regular safety audits of all AHNi premises and recommend measures that would reduce risk, focusing on prevention and deterrence, ensure that Security Guards at all AHNi premises have undergone basic safety and security trainings and maintain clear records on the same.
    • In consultation with the Admin Manager/SFAO/SPO, he/she will ensure that safety features are installed in all AHNi premises, conduct safety and security trainings to all new staff before deployment to filed locations.
    • Also, the Security Officer will analyze staff security and safety needs and share with line managers through the State Team Lead, develop a catalogue of mandatory trainings that staff should undertake & conduct brief security briefs before deployment to deep field locations, ensure close coordination of AHNi security protocols with other actors in the operation areas and keep monitoring for any actions that may elevate our security risk for immediate remedy.

    Minimum Recruitments

    Job Description

    • Will provide technical and programmatic support as well as implement high-quality care and support activities with primary focus on coordination of supported sites.

    Assistant Technical Officer - Clinical Services

    Job Description

    • Assistant Technical Officer - Clinical Services will provide technical leadership and technical support related to clinical management of HIV/AIDS and Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to Key populations (MSM, FSW, PWID & Transgender).
    • Provide ART services to Key Populations in line with current World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and national guidelines both at the OSS and through mobile ART sites. Oversee clinical HIV treatment protocols in each clinical department to reflect the needs of the Keys populations and ensure consistency of treatment services throughout the OSS.
    • Ensure seamless delivery of service for clients from intake through discharge at the OSS.
    • Effectively manage and supervise other health service providers, volunteers and case managers at the OSS as well as mobile ART teams. Advise project team on national and state policies, procedures and licensing requirements and ensure compliance with all requirements and/or mandatory inspections.
    • Provide support to the Strategic Information (SI) unit to manage data collection for service delivery to Key Populations in project communities using nationally approved tools.

    Technical Assistant - Health Informatics

    Job Description

    • Will provide mentoring and supervisory roles to the volunteers on capturing quality data, work closely with the DECs and Dos to monitor entries into the DHIS and LAMIS and follow through to correct and effect changes where necessary on the EMR.
    • The TA-AGYW will report at the end of the day data captured to supervisors, prepare presentations and dashboards for morning review meetings, ensure that all PMM tools/Registers are documented service providers and validated daily by DECs/Dos and conduct analysis to identify flags/gaps across all reported indicators.

    Drop-in Center Coordinator Intern

    Responsibilities

    • Will provide technical leadership in managing the DIC Centre and support on ART services in line with the 2020 National Treatment Guideline for HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care and World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations at the facility and community level.

    Surge Ad hoc Support M&E Intern

    Job Description

    Adherence Counselor Intern

    Job Description

    • Will provide psychosocial and continuous support as well as treatment/PrEP preparation to KPs and their partners in the OSS. Identify and address challenges/barriers to adherence to care and treatment to ART for KPs and PrEP for their partners. Organize and facilitate support group sessions for infected and affected KPs.

    • Will provide Pharmaceutical Logistics support overall services and activities for the KP CART Team, with a view to improving service delivery and reporting for Key Population.
    • She/He will dispense Antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) and other medication in line with approved regimens and standards, dispense ARVs in appropriate packaging with clear instructions, provide medication-related counseling, including reinforcing adherence and advising on potential side-effects and drug interactions.
    • She/He will provide drug information to health service providers and clients on request, identifying and support follow-up of clients who do not return for refills of their ARVs and work with providers and clients to identify, manage, and report adverse drug reactions and drug interactions.

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or other relevant fields with prior experience in supply chain management and HIV/AIDS monitoring and evaluation.
    • At least 2 years experience in related programming in developing countries.
    • Experience in Pharmacy Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
    • Experience in HIV/AIDS monitoring.
    • Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, and other Office packages.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate in local dialect.
