    Tax and Insurance Officer

    Minimum Educational Requirement:

    • HND/BSc in Accounting, Mathematics

    Current Holder’s Qualification(s): (Not specified)

    Minimum Relevant Work Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of cognate experience in a tax practicing firm

    Key Job Roles:

    • Prepare yearly tax plans and budgets in alignment with the department's strategic objectives.
    • Optimize the company’s tax and net income position.
    • Ensure timely computation and filing of monthly tax returns to relevant tax authorities (VAT, WHT, PAYE).
    • Prepare documents to support negotiations with tax authorities.
    • Prepare documents to defend the company’s position during tax audits to minimize or eliminate additional tax liability.
    • File necessary tax documents and obtain tax clearance certificates for the company and staff.
    • Provide tax-related advice to staff.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of all company insurable assets in collaboration with other departments.
    • Negotiate insurance contracts and maintain close relationships with insurance brokers.
    • Ensure timely filing of insurance claims and negotiate favorable discharge values for all claims.
    • Guide employees on insurance-related matters.
    • Actively participate in fundraising activities.
    • Ensure accurate posting of assigned bank statement transactions.
    • Regularly update and reconcile general ledgers related to taxation, insurance, and other allocated accounts.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

    Pharmacovigilance Officer

    Minimum Educational Requirement:

    • HND, BSc in Sciences, B.Pharm

    Current Holder’s Qualification(s):(Not specified)

    Minimum Relevant Work Experience:

    • 1 Year

    Required Competency and Work Skills:

    • Computer literacy
    • Good communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Pharmacovigilance experience

    Key Job Roles:

    • Preparation and submission of PSURs (Periodic Safety Update Reports)
    • Generation and regular updates of PSMFs (Pharmacovigilance System Master Files)
    • Management of adverse reactions, customer complaints, and generation of ICSRs (Individual Case Safety Reports) for Fidson products
    • Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Pharmacovigilance Unit
    • Preparation of SMPC (Summary of Product Characteristics) and PIL (Patient Information Leaflet) for Fidson products
    • Implementation and monitoring of post-marketing surveillance exercises for the company
    • Documentation and statistical analysis of annual post-market surveillance data
    • Liaison with regulatory authorities on pharmacovigilance activities
    • Liaison with hospitals, primary healthcare centers, etc., on pharmacovigilance activities
    • Product research and literature review
    • Product (safety) examination and review
    • Pharmacovigilance intelligence reporting
    • Follow-up on pharmacovigilance audits and inspections
    • Any other ad-hoc duties as required
