Job Description

• We are looking for young people who are energetic and are interested in in-home speech therapy. But have not gotten a Masters Degree.
• This training will be a practical training that will end in a diploma. It is a 3 year training program where you will be given cases to handle and paid 45k per case. You will recieve instructions, training, and therapy resources.
• You are not required to pay anything.
• You will sign a contract with the company and shadow a therapist for the first month. This shadowing period is not paid for. You may recieve a stipend for your transport fare to the sessions.
• Your job is to be teachable, fluent in English speaking, and good with children, even the bratty ones.

Salary
N45,000 per case.

Job Summary

• We are seeking passionate, patient, and skilled Homeschooling Teachers to work directly with families in their homes across Port Harcourt.
• You will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate, and structured learning activities tailored to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and young children.
• As part of our team, you will receive comprehensive training before beginning your role and will be supported throughout your 1-year contract.
• This is an in-home position—meaning you will go to clients’ residences to conduct one-on-one or small group lessons.
• You must be fluent in English and committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and joyful learning environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily or weekly homeschooling sessions in clients’ homes as scheduled.
• Implement curriculum plans provided by Caston Vienna Tutors, adapting content to suit individual child’s age, ability, and learning style.
• Focus on foundational skills: language development, early literacy, numeracy, sensory play, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development.
• Use creative, interactive, and hands-on teaching methods suitable for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, progress, and observations for each child.
• Communicate regularly with parents to report progress, share insights, and adjust learning goals.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols during in-home visits.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions provided by Caston Vienna Tutors.
• Collaborate with other staff members and support teams (including speech therapists when applicable).

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 0 - 2 years experience. 
• Fluency in spoken and written English (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of child development principles, especially for ages 0–6.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a fun, engaging, and structured learning environment.
• Living in Port Harcourt
• Clean criminal record and willingness to undergo background checks.
• Must be available for training prior to start date.
