    Solar Sales Engineer - Abuja

    Job Overview

    • The Ideal candidate will be saddled with the responsibility of conducting sales, by preparing sales and technical offers, organizing sales files, pricing accurately, and effectively communicating with the customers to understand their needs and efficiently coordinating internally, to deliver the right product and satisfy the customer's needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect for new opportunities, by having site visits to find new opportunities, meeting potential customers, and reporting on new products or services in the market (competitive or relevant to the company products or services), to get more leads and stay ahead in the market.
    • Prepare sales offers and quotations, containing commercial and technical information for standard products and build and maintain an up-to-date customer list.
    • To secure distributors in each of the target areas In Uganda and East Africa and identify and locate potential business deals
    • Stay aware of relevant industry events and exhibitions to evaluate the usefulness of each of these events and exhibitions and make recommendations about how to participate most effectively either as an exhibitor or as a guest.
    • To conduct seminars where many potential influencers can gather and learn about the value of our products
    • To discover and explore business opportunities in the region and to identify successful market strategies.
    • Follow up with relevant department for non-standard product offers' preparation, by sending needed details, receiving and rechecking the offers, and attaining needed approvals before submitting to customers.
    • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and any related survey reports; by adding drawings and designs requested from the production / technical department, along with technicalities needed for such offers and submittals, to use for the technical information for the sales offer.
    • Respond to detailed technical inquiries and bid requests, with full technical detail as per requirements, and coordinate offers preparation with all commercial and technical concerned departments.
    • Ensure proper communication of all sales processes and related documents, by coordinating with relevant departments for sales implementation and completion.
    • Coordinate the delivery and installation of sold generators to customers by following up with all concerned sales persons and related departments and attend to the commissioning of generators on-site when needed, to verify process completion and assure customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
    • Attend exhibitions related to the company’s field of work, by visiting stands and communicating with potential customers, to network and market the company's name and image as part of increasing sales plan.

    Qualifications/Skills

    • Technical / University degree in Engineering, Sales and marketing, Renewables, or any related discipline.
    • 5 years of experience in a similar industry.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Solar Sales Engineer - Rivers

    Job Summary:

    • The ideal candidate for this position should be able to obtain and expand the company's business relationships.
    • To succeed in this position the candidate must have a solid technical understanding of Jubaili Bros Engineering, its products, and Services offerings compiled with a great capability for networking to build relationships with potential clients. The candidate must possess transferrable sales experience in the Engineering and Power-generating sectors

    Responsibilities

    • Respond to detailed technical inquiries and bid requests, with full technical detail as per requirements, and coordinate offers preparation with all commercial and technical concerned departments.

    • Offer proper prices to customers, upon reviewing customers' portfolios and acquiring the matching prices from the price lists provided by the Sales Manager.
    • Coordinate the delivery and installation of sold generators to customers by following up with all concerned sales persons and related departments and attending to the commissioning of solar-powered generators on-site when needed, verify process completion, and assure customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
    • Attend exhibitions related to the company’s field of work, by visiting stands and communicating with potential customers, to network and market the company's name and image as part of increasing sales plan.
    • Contribute to the management of departmental compliance to all relevant health, safety, and Environmental requirements, to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.

    Required Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in Renewable Engineering.
    • 4+ years of relevant experience in the Engineering and power-generating industry in solar/Renewable Energy.
    • Strong negotiation skills and Interpersonal skills.
    • Proven experience in the Renewable/Electrical Engineering market would be an added advantage.
    • Good understanding of the Market in Nigeria.
    • Analytical, but also ambitious, self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to contribute.
    • Ability to effectively work with customers from different backgrounds.
    • NSE, COREN, or any other equivalent certification.
