    Social Media Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy.
    • Develop a content calendar.
    • Manage and oversee social media content.
    • Measure the success of every social media campaign.
    • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
    • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer.
    • Attend events and educational conferences.
    • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
    • Collaborate with Commercial and Communications Department, and Product Development teams.
    • Optimise and monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation.
    • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
    • Community management on all social media channels.
    • Create awareness and interest within our audiences and stakeholder groups, driving traffic to engage with digital content.
    • Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of digital channels/activities using tools like Google Analytics, give feedback to stakeholders and use the data to inform future activities.
    • Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication.
    • Evaluate and implement improvements on digital strategy.
    • Research the latest digital tools and interactive trends.
    • Create integrated and cost-effective digital strategies.
    • Drive value for the organisation.
    • Analyse and report on digital campaigns.
    • Analyse customer and user data.
    • Map out how digital assets will be optimised for business results.
    • Define and action digital events.
    • Provide constructive feedback – Adhere to rules and regulations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science or equivalent.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Firm grasp of emerging digital tools.

    Manager, Commercial & Revenue

    • Develop and execute multi-channel sales strategies for TV, digital, and sponsorship opportunities.
    • Drive brand positioning and commercial storytelling to enhance News Central TV’s appeal to advertisers, sponsors, and partners.
    • Analyze market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to inform revenue strategies.
    • Lead negotiations for advertising deals, brand partnerships, and commercial agreements.
    • Work closely with the Director, Commercial & Communications, to align commercial goals with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with editorial, production, and digital teams to create compelling commercial opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, sponsors, media buyers, and corporate partners.
    • Represent News Central TV at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.

    Person Specification

    • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in media sales, business development, or commercial leadership, preferably in broadcasting, digital media, or advertising.
    • Proven track record in revenue generation, sales leadership, and hitting financial targets.
    • Strong network of advertisers from government, media agencies, and corporate partners.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to lead, inspire, and drive high-performance teams.
    • Strong analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
    • Familiarity with media sales platforms, audience measurement tools, and digital advertising trends.
