    Social Media Intern

    About the role

    • This opportunity is open to women who live and breathe social media and are ready to turn that into something real.
    • You understand how platforms work; what to post, how communities behave, and what it takes to build genuine engagement.
    • You're the kind of person who is always on social media anyway. 

    What you'll be doing

    • Managing day-to-day activity across Africhange's social media platforms.
    • Scheduling and publishing content in line with the content calendar.
    • Monitoring comments, DMs, and mentions.
    • Tracking performance metrics and pulling weekly reports.
    • Identifying trends, sounds, and moments worth jumping on.
    • Working closely with the content team to give creative direction and feedback.
    • Supporting campaign rollouts with platform-specific execution.

    What you should have

    • Fresh graduate or 0-2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications.
    • Deep familiarity with Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
    • Creative and attentive enough to spot new trends and hop on them.
    • Copywriting skills.
    • Strong understanding of what performs on each platform and why.
    • Comfortable with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
    • Highly organized and dedicated.
    • Access to a working laptop or smartphone.
    • Available during core working hours and able to commit to occasional in-person shoot days.

    Bonus Points:

    • Experience managing a brand or personal account with a real following.
    • Eye for design. Be able to give useful creative direction even if you're not the designer.

    Marketing Intern (Business)

    What you'll be doing

    Content Creation Intern

    About the role

    • We're looking for a creative, camera-comfortable female storyteller to join the Africhange marketing team.
    • This opportunity is for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are ready to learn, create, and grow. 

    What you'll be doing

    • Creating short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, and other consumer-facing platforms
    • Appearing on camera - presenting, hosting, or narrating content
    • Writing captions, scripts, and copy for campaigns
    • Collaborating with the content team to ensure content fits the platform strategy
    • Contributing ideas to campaign briefs and creative sessions
    • Supporting the team with content for key moments - product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments.

    What you should have

    • Fresh graduate or 0 - 2 years of experience in content creation, media, communications, or a related field
    • Comfortable and natural on camera, this is non-negotiable
    • Genuinely creative - you bring ideas nobody asked for, and they're usually good
    • Strong visual sense - you notice when something looks good and when it doesn't
    • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content platforms
    • Basic video editing skills - CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar
    • Access to a working laptop or smartphone with a good camera
    • Available during core working hours and able to commit to occasional in-person shoot days.
