    MEP QA/QC Engineer (Junior Engineer)

    Job Summary

    • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented MEP QA/QC Engineer to oversee the quality assurance and quality control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on construction projects.
    • The successful candidate will ensure all installations comply with project specifications, international standards, safety regulations, and client requirements while supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement QA/QC procedures for MEP works in line with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.
    • Conduct inspections, testing, and quality audits of MEP installations, materials, and workmanship.
    • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, ITPs, checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
    • Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project execution.
    • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and third-party inspectors to ensure quality compliance.
    • Support testing, commissioning, defect resolution, and final handover of MEP systems.

    Requirements

    • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in MEP QA/QC within the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, QA/QC processes, construction standards, and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.).
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Office, and quality management systems is an added advantage.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
