    Senior Project Manager

    Department: Real Estate

    Job Summary

    • As a Senior Project Manager with Turner & Townsend you will have a commercial focus and experience working across commercial, real estate or retail development experience.
    • Candidate will be based in SA / Nigeria and expected to travel to Ghana frequently.

    Job Description
    Candidate will have perform the following duties:

    • Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
    • Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
    • Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
    • Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
    • Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
    • Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
    • Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants
    • Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives.

    Qualifications
    Candidate will hold the following qualification:

    • A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification
    • 6+ years experience managing a range of different building projects
    • SACPCMP Registered
    • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
    • Advanced Microsoft skills are essential
    • Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
    • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client

    Construction Manager

    Department: Infrastructure

    Job Description

    • Select subcontractors
    • Oversee the hospital construction from start to finish
    • Negotiate costs within the scope of the projects
    • Manage schedules and budgets
    • Take control of project elements
    • Provide technical input and ensure safe working environment in accordance with company procedures
    • Oversee delivery of construction activities and resolving all issues related to construction.

    Qualifications

    • You must have at least Bachelor's Degree in the Built Environment, Construction Management or other relevant discipline
    • Minimum of 5 - 8 years proven experience in a similar role  
    • Strong knowledge of construction contract law.
