Minimum of Second Class (Upper) division in finance or accounting from a reputable university.
Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, ICAN, etc) is an added advantage.
Minimum of five O ’Level credits in one sitting, including English language and Mathematics.
5-7 years’ work experience managing end-to-end fund administration processes, including solicitation, selection, disbursement, monitoring and closure of grants
Demonstrable experience in reviewing financial and programmatic reports from grantees or partners, ensuring compliance with donor requirements
Strong experience in accounting and bookkeeping for grants and donor-funded programs, including expenditure verifications and reconciliation of grant expenses, preferably in Nigeria.
Understanding of donor financial compliance frameworks (e.g. FCDO, USAID, World Bank, etc.)
Experience strengthening the institutional systems of sub-grantees to promote accountability and sustainability.
Experience in writing grant proposals and making presentations.
Strong skills on Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with financial management software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, etc.)
Strong project management skills.
