    Senior Associate, Grant Management

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Second Class (Upper) division in finance or accounting from a reputable university.
    • Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, ICAN, etc) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of five O ’Level credits in one sitting, including English language and Mathematics.
    • 5-7 years’ work experience managing end-to-end fund administration processes, including solicitation, selection, disbursement, monitoring and closure of grants
    • Demonstrable experience in reviewing financial and programmatic reports from grantees or partners, ensuring compliance with donor requirements
    • Strong experience in accounting and bookkeeping for grants and donor-funded programs, including expenditure verifications and reconciliation of grant expenses, preferably in Nigeria.
    • Understanding of donor financial compliance frameworks (e.g. FCDO, USAID, World Bank, etc.)
    • Experience strengthening the institutional systems of sub-grantees to promote accountability and sustainability.
    • Experience in writing grant proposals and making presentations.
    • Strong skills on Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with financial management software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, etc.)
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Appetite for learning new skills in a challenging and supportive environment.
    • Strong consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
    • High initiative and leadership.
    • Motivation to achieve high standards of customer service and professionalism.
