    Senior Account Officer

    Job Description

    • Ensuring that every expense is properly documented
    • Ensuring that the books of accounts are compiled every end of the month and end of every financial year
    • Working with staff in the accounts department in determining the level of profitability of the company within a specified time
    • Ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations
    • Responsible for the budgetary control
    • Responsible for tax management and reconciliation (PAYE, Company tax and withholding tax).
    • Assisting the Accounts Manager in dealing with internal and external audits
    • Taking part in strategic planning and execution process of Supervising company accounting and financial controls
    • Providing inputs to Management on key efficiency banking relationships
    • Supports the HR department payroll computation, analysis and reporting for management information
    • Supports the Accounts Manager in operating cost analysis, capex analysis, project accounting, management accounting preparation, balance sheet etc.
    • Handles petty cash records and reporting together with the Junior Account Officer.
    • Responsible for weekly bank reconciliation while updating the Accounts Manager and Junior Accounts Officerof unposted transactions.
    • Works with the HR department in payroll management.
    • Manages IOU monthly budgeting, Loans and posting.
    • Handles requests from the technical department, procurement, as well as HR department and updates the Accounts Manager on such requests.
    • Employment Type: Hybrid.

    Skills / Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4 - 10 years relevant work experience.
    • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted Accounting principles
    • Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
    • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
    • Knowledge and experience of related computer applications
    • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong communication skills
    • Judgment and problem-solving
    • Must have good experience of Government taxes and its handling.
    • Must be a certified member of ICAN.

    Business Development Officer

    Job Responsiblities 

    • Working with the business development executive to implement marketing strategies.
    • Generate leads, turn leads into opportunities and convert them into customers.
    • Assist to ensure the office is operational within the set rules and regulations.
    • Contributing to the company’s social media accounts contents and assisting in their management.
    • Meeting with potential and existing clients to present company’s offerings and initiate business deals.
    • Handle sales and coordinate transition and delivery of their products and services.
    • Build coordination with internal teams to develop new sales and marketing strategies.
    • Consult with senior management to discuss innovation or development in existing products and services to meet the market demand.
    • Get contacts of potential customers via cold calling, emailing and internet search.
    • Identify and qualify new customers as per company's policies and business model.
    • Coordinate appointments, calls and meetings between senior management and customers for discussing new opportunities and for business expansions.
    • Conduct meetings with internal teams and customers to discuss project development and delivery stages.
    • Maintain and regularly update the customer database, such as names, phone numbers and email addresses on the ERP.
    • Work with teams to achieve the monthly, quarterly or yearly targeted sales/revenue.
    • Assist the team with other responsibilities as required.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 8 years relevant work experience.
