    Sales Manager- Food Service

    Job Responsibilities

    • Create, implement, and drive strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activity.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years in a sales role within the food service industry.
    • Extensive knowledge of the Foodservice industry, including market trends, product innovations, and key players.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
    • Proficient in using data and market insights to drive decisions and improve sales
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating contracts, closing deals, and managing accounts effectively.
    • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new sales tools and software.

    Sales Supervisor

    Job Description

    • As a Sales Supervisor with 3-5 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, you likely have a strong foundation in managing sales teams, optimizing processes, and achieving targets. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Team Leadership & Management: Oversee a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and performance reviews. You may have also been responsible for recruitment and onboarding new team members.
    • Sales Target Achievement: Work with the sales team to ensure that sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are met. This involves setting achievable goals, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies as needed.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts, distributors, and clients. Your role may have involved understanding customer needs and ensuring the company's products were well-represented in retail channels.
    • Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to devise sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
    • Inventory & Stock Management: Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of products and optimal stock levels across key locations.
    • Promotions & Product Launches: Plan and execute promotional activities and new product launches to increase market share and drive brand visibility.
    • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports for senior management, analyzing performance metrics and providing forecasts for future sales and business growth.
    • Training & Development: Organize training programs for sales team members on new products, sales techniques, and customer service to improve performance.

    Key Skills

    • Qualification: Bachelor Degree, HND qualification.
    • Sales Management: Effective in managing sales teams, setting clear objectives, and driving results through motivation and leadership.
    • Customer Focus: Skilled in customer relationship building and understanding the dynamics of retail and consumer needs.
    • Experience: 3 - 5 years work experience.
    • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficient in using sales data, market research, and consumer insights to drive strategies and decision-making.
    • Communication & Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with clients and stakeholders effectively.
    • Problem-Solving: Quick to identify challenges in sales processes and market conditions, with the ability to create solutions that drive improvements.
    • FMCG Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the FMCG landscape, including product cycles, market segmentation, and distribution channels.
