    Production Machine Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Set up the machinery for operation
    • Start the machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
    • Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
    • Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to the supervisor
    • Comply with all safety and health regulations
    • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

    Requirements / Skills

    • Degree in Management or relevant field
    • 3 - 7 years of experience in a Food/Manufacturing plant

    Cashew Colour Sorter Machine Operator

    Responsibilities
    Loading and Setting:

    • Operators are responsible for properly loading the cashew nuts into the color sorter's feed hopper.
    • They also need to set and adjust the machine's parameters, such as sorting speed, air pressure, and sensitivity levels, to achieve the desired sorting results.

    Monitoring and Adjusting:

    • During the sorting process, operators must closely monitor the machine's performance, watching for any issues or inconsistencies in the sorting process.
    • They may need to adjust the machine's settings or make minor adjustments to ensure the correct separation of nuts and defects.

    Removing Sorted Products:

    Maintenance Technician

    Job Responsibilities

    • Execution of both planned and reactive maintenance and repair services for workshop machines and production equipment
    • Provision of periodic inspection services for all workshop machines and production equipment
    • Major overhaul / maintenance of the equipment to ensure the continuous integrity of the units.
    • Troubleshooting / fault diagnosis for workshop machines (Electrical, Mechanical)
    • Execution of reactive maintenance and repair works for Workshop machine and test units.
    • Recommendation of spare parts appropriate for repairs of workshop machines
    • Provision of needed support to maintenance technicians during investigation, troubleshooting / fault diagnosis and proposals for corrective or preventive maintenance.
    • Execution of fault diagnosis and recommendations for needed spare parts
    • Physical inspection of spare parts upon supply / issue and prior to commencement of work to ensure correctness and adequate condition.
    • Inspection and Verification of tools required to confirm fitness for purpose and safety of use.
    • Preparation of inspection and repair reports detailing the condition of equipment before and after maintenance, the repairs performed, the materials and spares used, the required checks for re-commissioning the equipment and proposals for future maintenance and/or repair and additional spare parts as necessary.
    • Report writing skills.

    Plant Welder

    Job Summary

    • Carry out various responsibilities related to the fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical equipment, instruments, and structures utilized within the plant.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Liaise with the Shift Technicians to identify problematic equipment/machines in the plant and effect repairs promptly.
    • Implement SOP’s for maintenance.
    • Execute corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment/ machines in a timely manner.
    • Assist to ensure safety precautions are observed and personal protection equipment are worn during repairs or scheduled maintenance.
    • Take inventory of working tools weekly to ensure that it matches the original tool list provided.
    • Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.
    • Replace minor fixtures in the plant machines.
    • Participate in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
    • Cleaning of welding machine before being put into operation.
    • Checking of the welding cables damaged joints, without insulation welding tongue condition, and earthling cable (earth).
    • Check all the terminals and the power source.
    • Switch on the machine and regulate it for a desirable purpose.
    • Ensure that during welding PPE’s is used before starting to weld i.e, welding safety goggles, hand glove, welding helmet etc.
    • Do not wear nylon or other synthetic materials as they can easily melt when contacted with sparks.
    • Wear high cut shoes so that sparks will not fall inside them.
    • Check for any inflammable material are kept away or remove from the surrounding during welding.

    Requirements

    • Trade Test 1,2,3
    • WASC / GCE / SSCE with minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience

    Skills & Competencies:

    • In Arc and gas cutting skills
    • Arc and gas welding skills
    • Knowledge of electrodes application and measurement skills
    • Basic knowledge of cement production process
    • In-depth knowledge of the cement machines/ functions and procedures

    AC Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
    • Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
