    Production Lead

    About the Role

    • As a Production Lead at Câm, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our dairy production processes.
    • Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of dairy products while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership: Provide strong and inspirational leadership to the production team, cultivating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Production Oversight: Take charge of day-to-day production operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
    • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements, leading initiatives to enhance overall production performance.
    • Good Manufacturing Practices: Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure factory facilities and resources are adequate and in good conditions to ensure product quality and safety through strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygienic Practices (GHP).
    • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold Câm's commitment to delivering premium dairy products to our consumers. Lead the factory team to maintain readiness status for Quality and Food Safety certification and surveillance audits, e.g. ISO 9001, FSSC 22000.
    • Team Development: Foster the professional development of production team members through training, mentoring, and creating a learning-oriented work environment.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline production processes and address challenges proactively.
    • Resource Management: Effectively manage production resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet production goals efficiently.
    • Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all production activities comply with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
    • Support consumer and customer complaints investigations ensuring root cause analysis and effective corrective and preventive actions.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Dairy Science, Food Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years proven leadership experience in a manufacturing role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of production processes and industry standards. Experience in Dairy is an advantage.
    • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of dairy manufacturing processes and equipment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems, food safety /HACCP, food microbiology, foreign body prevention, etc.
    • Proficiency in Non-Conformity Management. Able to analyse problems, detect root causes and proffer corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues.
    • Experience in Food certification process
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge/training in food safety programs, microbiological and sanitation concepts

    Area Sales Manager

    Role Summary

    • We are looking for a self-starter that is committed and passionate about our purpose, ambition, and values to help launch our products in the retail market and build our brand and customer loyalty.
    • You will be responsible for business development, sourcing new leads, onboarding and managing B2B customer relationships, and recruiting and managing a sales team in your area.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, inspire, and motivate a client-facing and high-performing team sales team in your area of coverage
    • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities
    • Develop a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
    • Develop new relationships with key clients and decision-makers in retail and HORECA channels and Estates
    • Create monthly, quarterly and annual plans to consistently meet assigned targets
    • Assess the needs of our clients and gather feedback to improve on existing products and services

    • Set up meetings or calls with prospective clients
    • Report sales results to the Head of B2B Sales on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
    • Stay up-to-date on new products and services, and new pricing and payment plans
    • Develop and maintain new B2B customer relationships in your area of coverage
    • Develop and execute on sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives
    • Ensure sustained profitability for all different SKUs and pack sizes
    • Ensure 100% on shelf product availability across assigned customer locations
    • Analyze customer and sales data to provide insights for the business
    • Negotiate contracts with customers and establish timeline of performance
    • Resolve customer issues and complaints
    • Expand customer relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Undergraduate Degree from a tertiary institutions - BA or BSC
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in a B2B sales role
    • Experience leading a sales team
    • Possess an excellent reputation in the industry
    • Possess established relationships with B2B clients
    • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Exhibit solid business judgment
    • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies
    • Relevant Professional Certificate relevant to role
    • Certificate in a productivity tool (Microsoft/Google)
    • Excel Intermediate Level Certification
