    Presales Manager

    Position Overview

    • The Presales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the presales team, which consists of technical experts who support the sales team in qualifying, proposing, and closing deals.
    • He/she will be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, and working closely with the sales team to facilitate the technical aspects of the sales process.
    • Overall, he/she will be responsible to develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and industries to effectively position our products in the market.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop a deep understanding of our products or services, including features, functionality, and technical specifications.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
    • Collaborate with the Business/Sales team to understand customer requirements and objectives.
    •  Develop technical solutions that align with customer needs and demonstrate the value of our products or services.
    • Create and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to potential client
    • Engage with potential clients to understand their technical challenges and business goals.
    • Build relationships with key technical stakeholders within customer organizations.
    • Accompanying Account Managers on sales meetings and calls, participating in reviews with Sales teams and providing technical feedback on identified product/services gaps, Providing knowledge transfer to the Sales team to help improve qualification and win ratios
    • Address technical questions and concerns during the sales process.
    • Assist the Business/Sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment between customer needs and product roadmap.
    •  Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights.
    •  Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the pre-sales function.
    • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with RFx to deliver solutions according to organizational standards, tracking changes, and transferring knowledge of customer projects from pre-sales to post-sales along with realized documentation
    • Design and build the appropriate pre-sales demonstration environment and keep this updated
    • Provide training to the sales team on all product and technical matters
    • Monitor and analyze demo metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Participate in the project definition workshops and design sessions, to ensure consistency of messaging from sales activity.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Task Related skills and Certifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field degree preferred
    • 5+ years of experience working such as technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Director of Business Development

    Position Overview

    • The Director of Business Development is responsible for establishing ambitious yet achievable targets for the sales team. He/she will be responsible for creating effective sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives as well as analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and addressing any issues or areas for improvement.
    • Overall, he/she will be responsible for managing and overseeing the sales process and team within a business.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
    • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales strategies, analyzing trends and results.
    • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
    • Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
    • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
    • Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
    • Offer best product/solution available to solve customer’s pain points, conduct product pitches and demos, hande the questions and objections from the client, facilitate the conversation with OEM whenever necessary
    • Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them; discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
    • Lead major client negotiations and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and develop new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
    • Develop and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices to guide strategic decision-making and ensure compliance.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Task Related skills and Certifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; master’s degree preferred
    • Proven track record of at least 10-12 years in progressively responsible sales roles, with at least 5 years in sales leadership or managing positions within the SAAS technology industry.
    • Strong understanding of SAAS business models, technology trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian market dynamics, including customer preferences, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
    • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to close complex deals
