    Chef

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring excellent food presentation while adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and standards
    • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
    • Monitor food stock levels and place requisitions when necessary
    • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
    • Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / FSLC / HND / NCE / OND with at least 4 years work experience.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook
    • Knowledge of local and continental dishes is an added advantage
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Culinary certification or training is an added advantage.

    Head Chef

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food production
    • Design and update innovative menus in line with current food trends
    • Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
    • Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships
    • Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
    • Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
    • Culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Menu planning and costing
    • Budget management
    • Staff supervision and training
    • Time management and multitasking
    • Strong communication skills.
