    Outlet Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To oversee the day-to-day operations of the confectionery/QSR outlet, ensuring excellent customer experience, operational efficiency, adherence to brand standards, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operations Management:

    • Supervise daily outlet operations to ensure smooth and efficient running.
    • Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation according to brand standards.
    • Oversee food preparation, inventory management, and store hygiene.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
    • Manage POS systems and ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and daily reporting.

    Sales & Customer Service:

    • Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed outlet revenue targets.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Implement in-store promotions and marketing initiatives to attract customers.
    • Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere for customers.

    Staff Supervision & Development:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise outlet staff including cashiers, servers, and kitchen assistants.
    • Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing at all times.
    • Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity.
    • Foster teamwork and positive employee morale.

    Inventory & Cost Control:

    • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and prevent wastage or pilferage.
    • Monitor food cost, labor cost, and other operational expenses to ensure profitability.
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with sales reports.

    Reporting & Administration:

    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, expenses, and operations.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per head, footfall, and wastage.
    • Liaise with head office on operational updates, product feedback, and logistics.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in outlet/store management within a confectionery, QSR, or hospitality environment.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
    • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) is an advantage.

    Customer Service Officer & Cashier

    Job Description

    • To provide excellent customer service by attending to guests courteously, processing orders accurately, handling cash transactions efficiently, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment that reflects the brand’s standards.

    Responsibilities
    Customer Service:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist them in making product selections.
    • Provide detailed product information, including flavors, ingredients, and promotions.
    • Ensure fast, friendly, and professional service at all times.
    • Handle customer complaints or feedback courteously and escalate unresolved issues to the Outlet Manager.
    • Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude that enhances the guest experience.

    Cashiering & Sales Transactions:

    • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, refunds, and discounts.
    • Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately and securely.
    • Reconcile cash drawers at the start and end of each shift.
    • Issue receipts, process refunds, and maintain accurate transaction records.
    • Ensure daily cash deposits are properly recorded and handed over according to company policy.

    Order & Product Handling:

    • Take and confirm orders correctly to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
    • Work with the production/kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
    • Package bakery, pastry, or ice cream items neatly and in line with brand presentation standards.
    • Monitor product display, restock shelves, and ensure items are attractively presented and labeled.

    Cleanliness & Store Appearance

    • Keep the counter, display area, and dining space clean and organized.
    • Follow food handling and hygiene standards in all customer-facing activities.
    • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout the day.

    Recordkeeping & Reporting:

    • Maintain daily sales and transaction records.
    • Report low stock levels, POS issues, or customer trends to the Outlet Supervisor.
    • Support in inventory counts and product movement tracking as needed.

    Requirements

    • SSCE / OND / HND in any field (Hospitality or Business-related discipline preferred).
    • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a customer service or cashier role within a confectionery, bakery, or QSR environment.
    • Basic knowledge of sales and cash handling procedures.
    • Familiarity with POS systems and digital payment platforms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Production Supervisor (Bakery, Pastry & Ice Cream)

    Job Purpose

    • To manage and supervise daily production of bakery, pastry, and ice cream products, ensuring consistent product quality, adherence to recipes and hygiene standards, and achievement of production targets in line with brand standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    Production Operations:

    • Supervise and coordinate daily production across bakery, pastry, and ice cream lines.
    • Ensure all products are prepared in accordance with approved recipes, portion sizes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Plan production schedules based on demand forecasts and outlet supply needs.
    • Monitor baking, mixing, freezing, and finishing processes to maintain consistency and quality.
    • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, freezers, and depositor machines.

    Quality & Hygiene Control:

    • Enforce strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards within all production areas.
    • Conduct in-process and final quality checks on all products (texture, taste, temperature, and appearance).
    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and shelf-life tracking of all finished goods.
    • Maintain compliance with HACCP, NAFDAC, and internal food safety guidelines.

    Inventory & Material Management:

    • Track usage of raw materials such as flour, butter, cream, sugar, flavors, and packaging items.
    • Coordinate with the store team to ensure timely availability of ingredients and materials.
    • Monitor and control wastage by optimizing batch sizes and production processes.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for ingredient issuance and product yield.

    Team Leadership & Training:

    • Supervise bakers, pastry chefs, ice cream operators, and assistants during all production shifts.
    • Train and mentor team members on recipe execution, product consistency, hygiene, and equipment handling.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, punctuality, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct performance appraisals and recommend staff development needs.

    Process Improvement & Innovation:

    • Collaborate with R&D or management to test and introduce new bakery, pastry, and ice cream recipes.
    • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest methods to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
    • Support product innovation aligned with market trends and customer feedback.

    Reporting & Compliance:

    • Prepare daily production and yield reports, including downtime, wastage, and output per line.
    • Monitor and document temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and production records.
    • Report production issues, equipment faults, or material shortages to the Production Manager promptly.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Food Technology, Bakery & Pastry Arts, Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
    • 3 - 5 years’ supervisory experience in a bakery, pastry, or ice cream production environment.
    • Strong technical knowledge of baking, confectionery, and ice cream production processes.
    • Familiarity with equipment maintenance and production planning.
    • Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and general food safety systems.

    Key Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
    • Sound knowledge of bakery and dessert trends.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
