    Technical Writer

    About the Role

    We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that enhances the customer’s experience and supports internal teams. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and support teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, write, and maintain high-quality documentation including:
    • User guides, product manuals, and knowledge base articles
    • API documentation, SDK guides, and developer tutorials
    • Internal process documentation and release notes
    • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.
    • Standardize content across platforms and ensure consistent style, tone, and formatting.
    • Organize and maintain documentation in accessible formats for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Edit, proofread, and improve existing content for clarity and usability.
    • Participate in product testing to ensure documentation reflects real-world usage.
    • Assist in creating visual documentation (diagrams, flowcharts, screenshots, video tutorials).

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience (2–4 years) as a technical writer in a software or technology company.
    • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language.
    • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, Git-based systems (Markdown/Docs-as-Code), MS Office, or Google Docs.
    • Familiarity with APIs, SaaS platforms, and software development life cycles.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io, Figma).
    • Basic understanding of programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
    • Experience with CMS, DITA, or other structured authoring environments.
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices for technical content.

    Role Overview

    The Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that educates, informs, and engages our audience. This includes editing how-to videos, tutorials, training/documentation videos, product explainers, and brand storytelling content. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final videos.
    • Create tutorials, training videos, and product demos aligned with Riskgratis’ brand and tone.
    • Add motion graphics, captions, animations, and visual effects where needed.
    • Collaborate with the content, product, and marketing teams to ensure videos align with objectives.
    • Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
    • Organize and maintain video file libraries for easy reference and updates.
      • Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio or sample work required).

    Requirements

    • Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
    • Strong storytelling and communication skills.
    • Ability to create engaging motion graphics and animations (a plus).
    • Experience editing tutorial/educational content preferred.
    • Attention to detail and a keen eye for design, pacing, and audio-visual balance.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Background in SaaS, ERP, or tech-related content.

    Field Technical Sales Representative (Retailrise)

    Reporting To: Sales Manager 

    Job Summary 

    We are looking for energetic and self-motivated Field Technical Sales Representatives to drive the adoption of Retailrise, a smart inventory management solution under the Juniper platform. This role is primarily field-based and involves actively prospecting, selling, and onboarding small to medium-sized businesses across Nigeria. 

    You will be equipped with a tablet loaded with our sales and onboarding tools, enabling you to demonstrate the platform and onboard customers on the fly. The role offers a base salary of ₦100,000 with additional performance-based commissions. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Actively sell Retailrise to small and medium businesses in assigned territories. 
    • Generate at least 400 qualified leads monthly through field visits, referrals, and cold outreach. 
    • Onboard at least 150 new customers monthly directly onto the Juniper platform using the provided tablet.
    • Conduct live product demonstrations and educate prospects on the value of Retailrise and Juniper. 
    • Accurately log and manage all leads, contacts, and customer activities using the company’s CRM platform. 
    • Follow up diligently on prospects to ensure conversion and satisfaction. 
    • Provide feedback from the field to help improve sales strategy, messaging, and product-market fit. 
    • Represent the brand with professionalism and integrity at all times. 

    Requirements 

    • Minimum of OND/NCE, HND, BA, B.Sc. B. Edu. degree 
    • Proficient data entry skills 
    • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Familiarity with mobile devices and web-based tools 
    • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus. 
    • Target-driven and highly self-motivated. 
    • Must be willing to travel within assigned regions and work on the field daily. 

    Compensation & Benefits 

    • Base Pay: ₦100,000 monthly 
    • Variable Pay: Attractive commission based on onboarding volume and revenue performance 
    • Tools Provided: Tablet with sales tools and onboarding app 
    • Training and Support: Comprehensive product training and ongoing sales support
