Key functions:

• Observing, monitoring and identifying microorganisms;
• Tracking of microorganisms in a range of environments;
• monitoring and assessing samples from a range of sources;
• Using a variety of identification methods, including molecular techniques, to test samples;
• Developing new techniques, products and processes;
• Developing and planning methods to prevent the spread of disease;
• Developing and registering new medicines, vaccines, diagnostic tests and pharmaceutical products;
• Planning, implementing and evaluating new products in clinical trials;
• Developing products, such as enzymes, vitamins, hormones, and anti microbial;

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• HND /B.Sc in Microbiology with 2-3 years working experience in Pharmaceutical environment.

Overall Operations

• Manage and monitor production operations on production floor
• Monitor material usage and prevent excessive overs
• Job Planning and Coordination Process
• Production Planning
• Review all job orders
• Coordination of job estimation process
• Identify actual cost at each level of production

Job Specifications

• Ensure jobs are printed according to customer’s specifications
• Report variances on each job printed

Industry Experience

• 10 years and above experience in Printing, Newspaper, Book publishing etc or any other related company.

Qualification

• B.Sc/HND Printing Technology/ Print Management/Industrial Printing/Book Publishing etc

ADDITIONAL SKILL

• Strong leadership attributes
• Good knowledge of Commercial press
• Resourceful person with good interpersonal skills plus particular attention for quality and details
• Good knowledge of the Nigeria print industry
• Knowledge of various printing machines
• Knowledge of MS office i.e Word, Excel, PowerPoint
