    The Check Point Officer responsible for overseeing the movement of cement trucks plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of cement logistics operations. This position involves regulating vehicle transit at designated checkpoints, verifying compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining precise records related to truck movements. 

    Key responsibilities

    • Effectively manage the entry and exit of cement trucks at checkpoints to uphold stringent security protocols and maintain operational fluidity.

    Job Summary

    Overall Responsibility for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant mechanical equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee the implementation of a maintenance strategy to accomplish the overall objectives of the organisation.

    Mines Stores Operations Management

    Inventry Control and Optimization

    • Conduct cycle counts, periodic stocktakes and surprise checks; investigate and resolve variances.
    • indentify and manage slow-moving, obsolete and surplus inventory, recommending disposal or redeployment.
    • Support Finance during month-end and year-end inventory valuation and reconciliations.

    Receiving and Issuing Controls

    • Ensure all receipts are supported by valid purchase orders, delivery notes and inspections approvals.

    • Minimum of 6-8 years experience in stores inventory management within Mining, Cement Manufacturing, Quarry or heavy equipment operations.
    • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

    • The training needs to be identified of his subordinates and draw necessary schedule to import the training at regular intervals.

    The Boiler Mechanical Technician is responsible for executing mechanical maintenance, repair, and inspection activities on boiler systems and associated auxiliaries.
