    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our factory facility in Sango Ota.
    • This is not a passive, instruction-driven role — we are looking for someone who takes initiative, identifies issues before they escalate, and drives improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and operational excellence.
    • The ideal candidate must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and fully accountable for the state of the facility.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance, safety, structural, and organizational issues early.
    • Coordinate, supervise, and follow up on repairs, maintenance, and improvement works.
    • Source reputable suppliers, artisans, and contractors, gather quotations, and compare options.
    • Make practical recommendations for facility upgrades and ensure effective execution once approved.
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and orderliness across the premises.
    • Collaborate closely with maintenance, electrical, and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • Ensure compliance with HSE standards across all facility activities.

    Requirements

    • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
    • 3–7 years proven experience as a Facility Manager—preferably in a factory, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.
    • Hands-on experience coordinating artisans and technical teams (electrical, mechanical, housekeeping, etc.).
    • Ability to identify issues independently, propose solutions, and follow through without constant supervision.
    • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergencies.

    Proficiency in:

    • Microsoft Excel (log sheets, maintenance trackers, reports, analysis)

    Technical Production Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities

    • The incumbent will oversee daily production operations, coordinate staff activities, ensure product quality, conduct inspections, and maintain high technical standards across the production process
    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule production staff involved in furniture assembly, finishing, and machine operations.
    • Develop work methods and align production schedules with other departments.
    • Identify and solve work-related issues while recommending improvements for productivity and quality.
    • Prepare cut lists and utilize industry software such as Masscut and SketchUp.
    • Train employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
    • Recommend staffing actions including hiring and promotions.
    • Prepare daily/weekly production and activity reports.
    • Visit job sites and take accurate measurements.
    • Inspect assembled furniture to ensure compliance with specifications and guide staff on correction methods.
    • Carry out visual inspections of materials and finished goods to ensure proper finishing and tagging.
    • Identify defects, imperfections, and non-conformities (structural, cosmetic, or functional).
    • Document inspection findings, imperfections, and maintain up-to-date quality records.
    • Verify corrective actions and ensure prompt resolution of identified defects.
    • Communicate all production activities and issues to management.
    • Collaborate effectively with the production team and other departments.
    • Maintain a high level of technical expertise across all areas of production.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Architecture, Woodwork, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a furniture manufacturing company.
    • Strong technical ability (MANDATORY).
    • Ability to stand and supervise for long hours.
    • High attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
    • Smart, energetic, and capable of leading a team.
    • Knowledge of quality control principles and standards within the furniture industry.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
