This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Engineer, based on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, creating machine designs, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. Additional responsibilities include overseeing projects, conducting research and development to improve processes, and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design
Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and related software
Project Management experience to deliver projects successfully
Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative problem-solving
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on practical application of engineering principles
Design and oversee gas reticulation and pipeline installation project.
Coordinate with contracts, inspectors, and project teams
Prepare technical drawings, report, and documentation
Supervise gas pipe laying works, testing, and commissioning
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
Professional certifications in engineering or project management are an added advantage
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience with natural gas and LPG distribution systems.
Relevant professional certifications are an advantage
