    Local Purchase Coordinator

    The Local Purchase Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing local procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, consumables, spares, and services required for smooth manufacturing operations. The role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, compliance with company policies, and timely delivery of goods to support production needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Procurement Execution

    • Source, evaluate, and purchase local materials, spare parts, consumables, and services in line with production and operational requirements.
    • Ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement of goods and services.
    • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.

    Supplier Management

    • Identify and develop reliable local vendors and maintain an approved vendor list.
    • Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure value-for-money procurement.
    • Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5–8 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within a manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of local markets, suppliers, and procurement processes.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge of inventory management practices is an added advantage.

    Senior Accountant

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of accounts, managing cost accounting related to manufacturing, monitoring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting financial decision-making. The role demands strong technical accounting expertise, knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, and leadership in guiding junior accountants.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Accounting & Reporting

    • Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Supervise reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier accounts, and general ledger balances.
    • Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation accounting.
    • Cost & Management Accounting
    • Monitor manufacturing costs, variances, and analyze production expenses.
    • Prepare cost sheets, product costing, and margin analysis.
    • Provide insights to management on cost control and profitability improvement.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting activities with cost-related data.

    Taxation & Compliance

    • Ensure timely filing of VAT, WHT, PAYE, and corporate tax returns.
    • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal audit requirements.
    • Internal Controls & Process Improvement
    • Implement and strengthen internal control procedures across the finance function.
    • Monitor inventory accounting, stock valuations, and periodic stock reconciliations.
    • Support ERP implementation and financial system enhancements.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) required.
    • Minimum of 7–10 years’ accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
    • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).

    QC Controller

    The QC Controller will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control procedures across the ceramic tile manufacturing process—from raw materials to finished products. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and company specifications to guarantee consistent product quality, minimize defects, and support continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Raw Material & Process Quality Control

    • Inspect and test raw materials (clay, feldspar, silica, glazes, pigments) to ensure suitability for production.
    • Monitor critical production stages including ball milling, spray drying, pressing, glazing, drying, and kiln firing.
    • Ensure compliance with technical specifications such as tile dimensions, water absorption, mechanical strength, color consistency, and surface finish.
    • Maintain in-process quality checks to detect and correct issues early.

    Finished Product Inspection

    • Conduct dimensional accuracy checks (length, width, thickness, straightness, squareness).
    • Assess surface quality (glaze, printing, color variation, defects such as pinholes, cracks, warpage).
    • Perform mechanical tests such as breaking strength, abrasion resistance, water absorption, and thermal shock resistance.
    • Approve or reject finished tiles based on established quality benchmarks and ISO/EN standards.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports for management review.
    • Monitor rejection/rework rates and provide root cause analysis.
    • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to improve product quality.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
    • 4–6 years’ experience in quality control within ceramic tile manufacturing.
    • Strong knowledge of raw material behavior, tile production processes, and ceramic standards.
    • Hands-on experience with QC equipment (calipers, testing machines, moisture analyzers, abrasion testers, etc.).
