    VP Marketing

    Role Summary

    You will be expected to provide the Marketing direction and support within the organization, actively participate in the organization’s strategy, communications, brand management as well as event planning and coordinating, and overall help in maintaining and improving the appropriate image of the company. 

    He/She will also be responsible for internal and external communications, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in implementing the firm's marketing plan.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Crafting strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications, Media Strategy, Buying and Planning, Business Development, Events, Partnerships, and Branding 

    • Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department 

    •  The setting, monitoring, and reporting on team goals

    Branding

    • Drive financial confidence through accurate and informative financial messages

    •  Build a media network that will enable the organization to use the media positively and effectively 

    • Ensure a risk management plan is developed and updated, enabling the company to respond quickly in times of crisis 

    •  Oversee all planning for news conferences, including selecting the site for an event, arranging for banners and other graphics to be displayed at the event, preparing packets of information to distribute to the media, and preparing executives to speak at news conferences. 

    •  Write and distribute news releases and respond to media inquiries. 

    • Arrange for spokespersons to appear on local television and radio programs. 

    • Produce newsletters, brochures, and other online materials designed for the general public. 

    • Create and manage companies’ CSR campaigns and activations 

    • Monitor newspapers, television news broadcasts, and other outlets to see what the media is saying about OnePort 365 and to devise strategies to address misinformation. 

    Public Relations

    • Develop and execute the marketing strategy in key cities and countries to project our new positioning/offerings to engage new and existing consumers 

    • Develop and conduct programs and initiatives to increase leads generated, working alongside digital product and sales team 

    •  Liaising with events coordinators to maximize visibility at conferences, receptions, and exhibitions, including 

    • compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate 

    • Managing brand presence at events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions 

    • Identify relevant brand collaboration opportunities between other corporate and personal brands while managing their interaction with the OnePort 365 brand. 

    • Develop and execute engagement experiences, events, and activations that are in line with the new 

    • positioning and offerings to effectively reach, engage and convert our core target 

    •  Contribute to ideating and defining how new products will be creatively expressed across all channels 

    • bringing fresh and original ideas that will help us deliver innovative and disruptive marketing activity 

    • Create and develop new revenue opportunities through continued sponsorships and advertising  inventory development, promotions, and in-kind relationships 

    • Develop and implement a sponsorship sales plan and program guidelines for increasing revenues and

    Role Summary

    The Operations Team Lead is responsible for providing seamless operational service for our clients from origin to destination. This role requires excellent hands-on skills in coordinating operational processes and the team to maintain optimum service rendered in terms of import and export.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Set up processes and procedures for Export and Import operations. 

    • Develop a structure for Oneport365 operational activities for the export and import leg of its business operations.

    Role Summary

    You are required to develop and maintain a pricing mechanism for our various branches across Nigeria ensuring we are competitive with our pricing. The role requires a strong commercial and operational focus individual to drive results and growth by building on the established customer service structure and operational performance

    The role requires putting structure in terms of pricing and providing commercial know-how with respect to our services such as:

    • Optimize the top line for OnePort 365 by setting market-relevant product prices to move the target volumes at the right price and ensure OnePort 365 is a price giver and not a price taker.

    •  Drive and recommend Commercial strategy, both short-term and long-term. Should be focused on generating new streams of revenue. 

    • Gather and translate market data for commercial function and achieve business objectives 

    • Business stakeholder management, and the development of internal pricing systems APPLICABLE to all vendors/3PL suppliers. 

    • Building new optimization models and collaboration with business (including sales, finance, procurement, and operations) across all OnePort implants.

    • Supporting the product team with the full development of the OnePort Africa Price Index (OPAI) 

    • Market Intelligence and Optimisation 

    • “Preach” the message of digitization of trade for the African market

    • Negotiating contracts minimizing/ liabilities/ indemnities on the company.

    • Overseeing full clearing activities and monitoring end-to-end delivery with SDM’s, finance, and haulage teams.

    •  Assisting and mentoring CRMs/ SDMs work. 

    • Financial management of files increases profitability while maintaining the same quality to value. 

    •  Look to strategically improve procedures internally by reviewing and developing operational process flows to enhance the workflow and save cost.
