    Field Operations Supervisor (Operations) – Northbank Node

    Minimum Requirements

    • Trade test cert/OND/HND/B.Sc. in sciences/engineering with 5 – 8years work experience in
    • field operations of oil and gas facilities.
    • Skill level competence in operations of integrated oil and gas processing and export facilities
    • Skill level competence in operations and first line maintenance of oil and gas wells
    • Skill level competence in operations of well artificial lift systems.
    • Knowledge level competence in Control Room operations of DCS/Delta-V run facilities.
    • Knowledge of Emergency response requirements in oil and gas operations.
    • Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS)
    • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of Process and Personal safety
    • T_BOSIET certification

    Skills

    • Prior experience in operations of any Renaissance production facilities will be an added advantage

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The personnel will be responsible for the following:
    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Report and close out Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions
    • Serves as permit to work signatory and administer safe system of work.
    • Apply the Health Safety Security and Environment policy, legislation applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
    • Carry out first line maintenance on pumps, motors, separators, and valves.
    • Adhere to plant operating procedures.
    • Execute daily communication and Shift handover.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions, plant isolation etc.
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
    • Execute front line maintenance activities in the plant.
    • Troubleshooting of safety critical equipment and control/safeguarding system.
    • Supporting the maintenance team in maintaining facilities.
    • Assist the maintenance team to cope with high number of activities to sustain asset integrity/equipment availability.
    • Comply with HSE practices and procedures.
    • Assist in ensuring Technical Integrity and safe operation of new process & utility system to achieve the facility’s objectives.
    • Identify any area of new facilities requiring Change Control and document the change proposal.
    • Review operating procedure under current reality and propose changes.
    • Participate in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work packs.
    • Provide technical support in repairing outstanding mal-functioning equipment (e.g. crude transfer pumps etc.)
    • Support the maintenance team in all trouble shooting exercises.
    • Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis), investigation and improvement initiatives.
    • Close out assigned MFI/audit actions for continuous improvements

    • Knowledge in safe work practices and use of SOPs,
    • Experience in operations of field control and safeguarding systems (pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic) including sensors, transmitters, actuators and valves.
    • Knowledge in fluid dynamics and mechanics.
    • Knowledge of hydrocarbon fluid flow, compression and transfer to export

    • Operator of flow station, gas stations and associated assets in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with stipulated guidelines.
    • Manage day-to-day production operations field activities and manage safety and environmental issues.
    • Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
    • Start-up wells and facilities (hot and cold start).
    • Perform basic troubleshooting on wells and facilities to ensure stability.
    • Prepare the wells and facilities/equipment for (re) commencement of production/processing.
    • Perform routine well test, bean/choke changeout and sampling of producing wells.
    • Measure, validate and report production volumes accurately
    • Carryout ad-hoc annulus pressure monitoring of all wells in the production unit.
    • Perform periodically well integrity assurance tasks and activities (both well's flow-wetted and non-flow-wetted components)
    • Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
    • Gather daily production data, determine the production performance.
