    Lead Designer

    About the Team

    The Communications and Experiences team exists to enable understanding, learning, and meaningful connection across the Teach For All network and beyond by curating, creating, and communicating products, experiences, and insights that bring to life our shared purpose, vision, and values. Our work cuts across all aspects of events, learning design and resources, platforms and communication channels, brand/design and promotion, video, and storytelling.

    This role reports to the Head of Brand and Design and works closely with a circle of other collaborators who focus on brand and design-related work. They will be the primary designer for the organization, working with close supervision on many projects across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    Execution and management of design projects 

    • Styling decks: Creation of new pitch decks and external presentations, and review/refinement of staff-created decks
    • Maintaining and improving core materials (managing periodic updates and the creation of new materials in a  variety of editorial layouts and formats)
    • Designing reports, documents, etc. for various audiences
    • Design all physical branded materials (swag, signage, gift items)
    • Design all digital assets for external promotion and social media
    • Provide design support for video assets
    • Create templates, one-off designs, and custom assets/graphics for emails/mass mailings
    • Creation of infographics and other visuals to convey complex information
    • All other design needs as they arise

    Design conceptualization and development

    • Establish distinct identity for key in-person and virtual events or launches and design all related assets
    • Develop visual identity for campaigns, including co-branding with other organizations or network partners when required
    • Design new pages and features for Teach For All sites and revise the design of existing pages as needed
    • Design and theme custom event websites (using third-party client)
    • Contribute to establishing new visual identity and brand guidance for emerging organizations or initiatives

    Maintaining brand systems and libraries

    • Support the creation and upkeep of all templates and guidance in line with our established brand identity
    • Train and support staff to leverage templates and other brand resources and provide feedback on staff-created materials
    • Maintain an organized library of design projects, assets and work files
    • Research and test new tools for optimizing systems 

    Qualifications

    • At least 5 years of experience in a design role working across diverse mediums (including but not limited to pitch decks, social media graphics, documents and reports, logos/visual identities, event collateral, web and digital design, etc.) 
    • Technical skills required include: proficiency with Adobe Creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), Google/Office (docs + slides), Canva, web design (ideally familiarity with drupal plus CSS, html, UX principles). Familiarity with mass mailing platforms and other digital tools preferred
    • General knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, photo retouching (other areas of expertise also welcome)
    • Degree in art/design or equivalent training and work experience
    • Creative thinking skills  
    • Familiarity with current digital and social media landscape as well as the broader design landscape
    • Experience with working collaboratively and building relationships across teams and with external consultants, with the ability to be kind, flexible, and adaptive in a dynamic work environment, while maintaining a very high bar for quality
    • Strong organizational skills - balancing multiple projects and stakeholders across time zones
    • Ability to effectively synthesize and accommodate feedback from multiple stakeholders 
    • Strong sense of ownership and ability to operate in a dynamic, evolving, and entrepreneurial environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility to work with ambiguity and resource constraints, and build and exercise judgement in nuanced and complex situations
    • Strong storytelling skills—able to communicate ideas clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences
    • Sensitivity to diversity in backgrounds and beliefs (e.g., racial, cultural, socioeconomic, political, etc.)

    Business Intelligence Analyst

    About the Team 

    The Data, Analysis & Planning (DAP) aims to foster a thriving data & learning culture across the organization, equipping teams with data to inform their decision-making and planning, through:

    • Data: developing and managing the infrastructure & tools to collect high-quality data in support of the organization’s learning questions
    • Analysis: processing and visualizing the organization’s collected data, providing teams with the foundations to extract meaningful insights from the data
    • Planning: managing the rituals and frameworks that enable data-driven reflection, learning, and planning processes across the program continuum

    Key Responsibilities :

    Strengthen and automate Teach For All’s data tools, systems, and processes based on feedback and evolving needs

    • Collaborate with program teams to identify & diagnose data reflection and reporting needs 
    • Design, build and maintain complex, custom program data dashboards in PowerBI, integrating data from various sources  (eg, Salesforce, BigQuery, Google Analytics) to support org-wide and team-specific data needs 
    • Strengthen and evolve systems and processes for collecting and aggregating program data and dashboards to visualize the data 
    • Monitor the engagement and effectiveness of data solutions and implement systems for us to collect feedback and make improvements
    • Streamline and automate data processes (ie, collection, cleaning, verification, reporting)

    Analyse data and generate insights to foster a stronger data and learning culture

    • Partner with other teams to generate custom data visualizations and insights
    • Support teams across the organisation to use data and draw insights from it through bespoke analysis
    • Prepare regular analysis and reports to drive data-based decision-making in the organization

    Qualifications

    • Technical background with experience in data analysis, visualization, reporting and coding
    • Ability to translate technical data into programmatic insights
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex information & data, and synthesize in a simple manner
    • Project management experience that involves managing projects with multiple work streams and various stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently and proactively drive projects forward
    • Strong and clear written and verbal communications; ideally some experience with communicating across diverse global contexts and some skills in shaping compelling narratives and stories
    • Ability to navigate across organizational and reporting lines with a range of diverse stakeholders who are geographically dispersed across time zones

    Global Lead, Financial Consulting & Advisory

    About the Team 

    The Collective Learning and Consulting team is a diverse group of over 25 staff members with an array of expertise, ranging from teacher recruitment and professional development to governance to public/private sector partnerships. In collaboration with others, the Collective Learning and Consulting team drives aggregate impact across the network by:

    • Distilling and sharing insights
    • Designing and facilitating meaningful learning opportunities and communities in virtual, in-person and blended spaces
    • Providing tailored coaching and consulting to early stage entrepreneurs and current network partners
    • Contributing insights on education, leadership, and system change  to the broader global ecosystem

    Key Responsibilities :

    This role will be mainly focusing on the 3 core areas of 1) Coaching and Consulting Support,  2) Knowledge & Learning Experience Development and 3) Finance Communities facilitation. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    Coaching and Consulting Support

    • Provide strategic financial consulting and advisory services and support  to senior leaders and network partners,  shaping and influencing budgeting, forecasting, financial strategy, risk management, and long-term financial planning. 
    • Act as strategic partner to partner CEOs and senior management, translating complex financial data into organizational strategy and influence structural decisions that impact organizational outcomes, enabling leaders to make informed decisions, to influence  the organization- or network-wide outcomes.
    • Guide and support partner staff and ESEs (Early-Stage Entrepreneurs) to self-diagnose the financial strength of their organizations and to identify strategic growth opportunities. and prioritizing initiatives to strengthen their long-term impact and sustainability.
    • Provide leadership coaching to support senior leaders across organizations to shift mindsets and practices that will unlock financial strength  - and to strengthen collaboration across their organization, and drive sustainable organizational impact.
    • Partner, influence and collaborate with cross-functional internal teams e.g., Subgrants, Development & Partnerships team, Government & Multilateral, Executive and Regional Teams, to align strategies, ensure cohesive sustainable financial health & best practice operational practices support across the network.

    Knowledge Development 

    • Design and lead dynamic learning experiences (virtual and in-person) for finance and non-finance leaders across the network.
    • Create and curate financial resources, tools, and best practices to provide actionable knowledge development and insights to partner organizations.
    • Lead the development and execution of high-impact financial projects and initiatives across the global network, including elevating examples of financial policies and best practices and analyzing global trends.

    Building Strong Communities 

    • Facilitate and foster the growth and cross-collaboration of Regional Finance communities, providing specific and targeted coaching to Heads of Finance/CFOs on their leadership journey.
    • Support finance staff to engage meaningfully with their peers on key areas of learning/ interest, strategic priorities, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

    Qualifications

    We're looking for a leader who is passionate about financial sustainability and enabling the success of others even without formal authority. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

    • Professional Certification: A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA is required.
    • Senior Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a financial capacity, with demonstrated success in executing high-level projects and driving organizational financial health.
    • Financial Strategy, Systems & Operations: Proven expertise in a senior financial leadership role, with a strong understanding of financial strategy, planning, risk management, and the ability to develop, implement, and evolve financial systems and processes to support organizational growth and ensure compliance.
    • Strategic Business Partnering & Coaching: Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner, coaching and advising senior leaders on complex financial matters, and building strong, collaborative relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
    • Global Fluency: Ability to communicate, lead and participate in calls in English and Spanish, as well as create stories and resources is required.
    • Sector Knowledge (Preferred): Experience working within the nonprofit or development sector is a plus.

    Additional desirable skills/experiences (not required):

    • Familiarity with the Teach For All model and/or prior work experience with one of Teach For All’s network partners is an asset.
    • Ability to build relationships across lines of difference and virtually
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment
    • Experience designing tools and experiences to facilitate adult learning across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, would be highly advantageous
    • Experience launching and/or coaching and supporting social enterprises is strongly preferred
    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
