    Digital and Media Executive

    Job Purpose

    • The Digital and Media Executive manages the company’s social media and other digital platforms to increase brand visibility, promote product adoption, and engage target audiences.
    • The role involves working closely with external agencies to execute effective digital campaigns that will achieve the company's set goals.

    Key Responsibilities
    Social Media Management:

    • Collaborate with a digital agency to develop and execute social media strategies aligned with SAS crops of focus and their respective growing seasons.
    • Coordinate the creation, scheduling, and publishing of engaging, audience-specific content across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
    • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience engagement to continuously optimize content performance.
    • Build and nurture online communities by responding promptly to inquiries and feedback.
    • Maintain a positive brand image and encourage active audience participation.

    Performance Analysis & Reporting:

    • Review and interpret performance reports provided by the digital agency.
    • Translate social media performance data into clear insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Provide summarized performance updates to the Head of Marketing to support decision-making.

    Qualification and Expertise

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, with at least a Second Class Upper (2:1).
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management.
    • Age Requirement: 26 – 32 Years.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of social media marketing, content strategy, and SEO.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, or Adobe Suite.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
    • Knowledge of agricultural trends and crop production is an advantage.

    Category Executive (Brand Management)

    Job Purpose

    • The Category Executive is responsible for the planning, execution, and performance management of the assigned product category (crop protection product portfolio).
    • The role focuses on driving category growth through market and data analysis, product lifecycle support, pricing and promotion coordination, and close collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.

    Key Responsibilities
    Category Planning & Execution:

    • Support the development and execution of annual category plans aligned with company sales and growth targets.
    • Assist in defining category objectives, key SKUs, and crops of focus (e.g., maize, rice, etc.).
    • Monitor category performance against targets and recommend the next line of action where required.

    Product & Portfolio Management;

    • Track product performance, including new product launches and existing brands.
    • Support go-to-market activities such as product positioning, value propositions, and pack strategies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data, including SKUs, pack sizes, pricing, and promotional activities.

    Sales & Trade Support:

    • Work closely with Sales teams to support product availability and effective distribution across territories.
    • Provide sales enablement tools such as product briefs, pricing guides, and promotional details.
    • Coordinate trade promotions, farmer activations, field demonstrations, and seasonal campaigns.

    Market & Competitive Analysis:

    • Conduct market analysis on crop trends, seasonal demand patterns, and competitor activities.
    • Track competitor pricing, formulations, pack sizes, and promotional strategies.
    • Generate actionable insights to support pricing decisions and portfolio optimization.

    Reporting & Performance Tracking:

    • Prepare weekly and monthly category performance reports.
    • Track KPIs including sales growth, market share, distribution, and promotional effectiveness.
    • Support management presentations and periodic business reviews.

    Qualification and Expertise

    • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, or Marketing with at least a Second Class Upper (2.1).
    • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, category management, sales operations, or commercial roles (agrochemical or FMCG experience preferred).
    • Good understanding of crop protection products, crop cycles, and farming systems is an advantage.
    • Age Requirement: 26–32 Years.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
    • Commercial and market-oriented mindset.
    • Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
