Product at Moniepoint is an inspired, customer-centric community, dedicated to crafting solutions that redefine our industry.
We are obsessed with the user experience of our customers, and with crafting intuitive, innovative easy-to-use solutions for our businesses. We listen to the needs and desires of our customers constantly and uncover their pain points while using our products.
There are both extremely demanding traits and experiences we look for in all of our Heads of Product, and specific requirements for this opening. For this specific Head of Product role, we're looking for a senior product leader who will build from scratch, and own the product vision and operational systems behind our logistics operations.
This is a product-first role in a uniquely complex, deeply operational space - the ideal candidate will be energized by building and using technology to solve complex logistics problems, and by building digital infrastructure to manage complex logistics operations, at scale.
Head of Product Job Purpose
Head of Product is a highly prominent role at Moniepoint. Heads of Product are responsible for building a product, running it, and owning its performance from start to finish of the product’s lifecycle.
Your product will have set KPIs with goals to achieve. You will be directly responsible for achieving these goals. You will have a team directly reporting to you to help you achieve your goals, which will include Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, QAs, Designers, Operations Leads and individuals representing Compliance and Finance.
At Moniepoint the customer is a major stakeholder. You will be acutely close to the customer and build products around their specific needs. You will also need to build for internal and regulatory considerations when the situation demands it. It is your job as Head of Product to represent the customer in all internal interactions, and balance the needs of all internal and external stakeholders for prioritisation. In addition to the domain specific requirements, as a Head of Product, you will:
- Own and deliver against clear KPIs - growth, efficiency, experience, revenue.
- Lead full-stack teams (PMs, engineers, designers, analysts, etc.) and shape the roadmap.
- Stay obsessively close to customers and operational stakeholders.
- Deeply understand their business area, and what levers to pull to get the product into the hands of customers, at scale, and profitably.
- Balance business needs, regulatory context, and user experience.
- Work hands-on with data to uncover insights, drive decisions, and ship high-impact improvements.
- Most importantly, our Heads don’t just write specs - they roll up their sleeves, and build and run the product.
Role specific responsibilities
- Build and scale core systems that power logistics operations - enabling smarter planning, faster execution, and tighter cost control.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead the development of tech-enabled solutions that improve fulfillment outcomes.
- Drive the design and rollout of platforms that streamline day-to-day logistics workflows, including planning, dispatch, routing, and exception management.
- Work deeply with operational leaders to codify tribal knowledge and offline processes into scalable product systems.
- Develop and launch tools that enable visibility, control, and accountability across the logistics lifecycle.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure system architecture is robust, modular, and built for scale.
- Use data to build continuous feedback loops into logistics operations, driving improvements in performance and predictability.
- Translate operational complexity into product decisions - balancing automation with usability for non-technical end users.
- Design for frontline adoption: ensure tools are simple, effective, and embedded in the daily routines of field teams and external partners.
- Plan ahead for operational scale, volume fluctuations, and regional expansion - proactively designing systems that accommodate future growth.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in logistics, supply chain, ideally in high-growth e-commerce, FMCG, or logistics startups.
- 5+ years of experience in product management leadership roles
- Experience building logistics platforms and products at scale.
- Strong analytical skills and fluency in performance metrics (TAT, cost per order, SLAs).
- Ability to manage complexity across distributed teams and partners.
- Bachelor's degree required; STEM or business-related degrees preferred. MBA is a plus.
What we can offer you
- Culture - We put our people first and prioritise the well-being of every team member. We’ve built a company where all opinions carry weight and where all voices are heard. We value and respect each other and always look out for one another. Above all, we are human.
- Learning - We have a learning and development-focused environment with an emphasis on knowledge sharing, training, and regular internal technical talks.
- Compensation - You’ll receive an attractive salary, pension, health insurance, annual bonus, plus other benefits.
