    Media Officer - Female

    Location: Sango Ota, Ogun

    Position Summary

    • The Media Officer will be responsible for managing and creating content for TheMomentforWomen Magazine, as well as overseeing all media-related activities for Moment for Women Alliance.
    • This role requires a strong background in journalism, excellent writing and editing skills, and a passion for women's issues.
    • The ideal candidate will be able to produce compelling news reports, feature articles, and multimedia content that align with our mission and engage our audience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Write, edit, and publish news reports, feature articles, and other content for TheMomentforWomen Magazine.
    • Conduct interviews with female leaders, activists, and other relevant figures for publication.
    • Develop and manage editorial calendars and content plans.
    • Coordinate with photographers, designers, and other contributors to produce high-quality magazine content.
    • Monitor current events and trends related to women's issues to ensure timely and relevant reporting.
    • Manage the magazine’s digital presence, including social media and the website.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote magazine content and increase readership.
    • Oversee media relations and manage press releases, media inquiries, and coverage.
    • Organize and coordinate media events, including press conferences and interviews.
    • Ensure all content aligns with the organization’s mission and brand voice.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in journalism or media production.
    • Strong portfolio of published articles and media content.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Proficiency in digital media tools and content management systems.

    Administrative Assistant - Female

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a dynamic and organized administrative assistant to join our team.
    • The officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the organization's office.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    Membership Management:

    • Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
    • Maintain accurate membership records, including contact information, payment status, and participation history.
    • Coordinate membership outreach activities, such as recruitment drives, networking events, and membership drives.
    • Respond to member inquiries, requests, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

    Overall Operations Oversight:

    Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative support to the executive team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
    • Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and other materials for meetings, ensuring timely dissemination of relevant information.
    • Maintain office supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement and repairs as needed.
    • Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring easy access to important documents and records.

    Event Coordination and Support:

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
    • 2+ years relevant work experience.
    • Proven experience in office administration or a similar role, preferably in a non-profit or social enterprise environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

    Finance Officer

    Job Description

    • The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
    • This role requires a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will ensure our financial practices are sound, transparent, and aligned with our strategic goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with senior management.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
    • Monitor financial performance against budget and report variances.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and organizational policies.
