    Receptionist / Front Desk Officer

    Overall Description of Duties

    • The hotel receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all guests at our organization. As such, the ideal candidate should be friendly, welcoming, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable.
    • Their duties may include greeting guests as they come in, managing the check-in and check-out process, answering questions and requests, and helping with administrative tasks at the front desk.
    • The hotel receptionist must be trustworthy and able to work well with little direct supervision.
    • The satisfaction and comfort of each guest is our top priority, and the hotel receptionist’s attitude and behavior should reflect that at all times.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings
    • Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys
    • Answering phones from prospective customers and guests, taking messages and delivering them
    • Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying
    • Responding to requests for help and information
    • Providing concierge services, such as arranging travel and providing information about local amenities and attractions.

    Overall Description of Duties

    • We are seeking a diligent Hotel Housekeeper who will keep our hotel looking its absolute best.
    • You will work with a team of cleaning professionals and may be assigned to different shifts each week.
    • Our ideal Hotel Housekeeper has a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties.

    • Clean and tidy up hotel rooms, hallways, lobbies, common areas and restaurants

    Porter

    Overall Description of Duties

    • Porter’s responsibilities include carrying guests’ luggage, fixing minor issues (like changing light bulbs) and cleaning building areas, including entrances.
    • To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly.
    • Keep in mind that our Porter position requires working in shifts, occasionally on weekends or evenings.
    • Ultimately, you’ll ensure our building is free, safe, clean and inviting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Help guests by carrying luggage
    • Ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times
    • Direct guests to the reception area or the appropriate office/room
    • Arrange taxi services upon request

    Experienced Chef

    Responsibilities

    • Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations.
    • Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
    • Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift.
    • Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system.
    • Cooking order according to food health and safety standards.
    • Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.
    • Handling multiple food orders at one time.
    • Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive.
    • Dressing order for presentation.

    Laundry Assistant

    Overall Description of Duties

    • A laundry attendant is in charge of ensuring that clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel. Among the responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
    • They also remove stains from products by adhering to the manufacturer's processes and use of commercial cleaning products.
    • If the hotel provides cleaning services, the laundry attendants may also be in charge of cleaning the visitors' personal belongings.
    • This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous hotel linen and laundry items.
    • Sort the laundry items according to material and color.
    • Arrange clothes in the laundry room as per the specifications.
    • Wrap the laundry items for pickup or delivery.

    Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter

    Overall Description of Duties

    • We are looking to hire a dedicated and reliable kitchen assistant to assist the cook with ingredient preparation as well as perform all washing and cleaning duties required in the kitchen.
    • The kitchen assistant's responsibilities include assisting with inventory control, removing the garbage, washing garbage cans, and clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms.
