Job Description

• The Team Lead is required to manage the following; Spot Checks and Reporting of Outside Plant Fiber Activities, Milestone and Final Acceptance Testing Escalations and Enforcement of Quality, As Built Documentation as well as maintain and update standards and specification documentation for training purposes.
• The job involves ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence during all levels of engagements with customers and stakeholders, proactively providing support and input when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance And Compliance on all Outside Plant Deployments and Operations
• Periodic Audit and Verification of As Maintained Information and Records
• Updating and Maintaining Standards and Specifications Documentation
• Updating and Maintaining Training Documentation
• Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reporting on Performance Indices as required in the Infrastructure Quality Unit
• Build and maintain a healthy relationship with customers and stakeholders
• Drive internal and external training initiatives for team members.

Requirements

• B.Eng in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, ICT and related courses. (2.2/Upper Credit Minimum)
• 3 years experience in Turnkey Fiber Deployment and Civil Works standards and specifications
• CFOT is an added advantage
• Good Knowledge of Fiber Turnkey Deployments and Civil Works and Materials standards
• Conversant with Microsoft Office Tools, AutoCAD/Visio, A good knowledge of GIS will be an added advantage
• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.

Job Summary

• To be responsible for the ongoing definition of IP/MPLS core network design, services, procedures, and policies and also for the implementation of those designs, services, procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate); CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• Deep understanding of IP based technologies, protocols such as TCP/ IP, Routing Protocols like OSPF, BGP, RIP, EIGRP, IS- IS , IP-MPLS, Traffic Engineering, QoS.
• Hands- on experience on Cisco based Routers, Cisco L2/ L3 Switches, and Network Security platform, etc
• Distinctive analytical skills and ability to present and communicate and work with a highly technical team.
• Excellent technical acumen and a strong sense of focus. Pay meticulous attention to detail and have proven ability to guide others to deliver outstanding results in a timely manner.
• Research and evaluate network/systems, performance capacity, and compatibility with existing systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support network equipment and network operating systems
• A hands on experience with the following is a must: IP Routing, MPLS, QOS, VPN, DMVPN.
• Recommend and modify network configuration to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Have functional and working knowledge in disruptive technologies especially in disaggregated solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with network security (IPSec Firewalls) is desirable.

Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the 24x7 operation and availability of the technical infrastructure
• Manages the Division’s IT infrastructure services team; setting goals, prioritizing projects, communicating with stakeholders and oversees budgets
• Defines the overall mission of the infrastructure services team
• Direct operational support for network operations and technical assistance centre
• Develop IT strategies and vision and articulates them to team members and other stakeholders
• Enable a highly scalable, fault-tolerant platform for corporate clients adhering to best practices to ensure optimal performance and achievement of customer SLAs
• Maintain knowledge of infrastructure/architecture standards and practices
• Support the delivery of connectivity products and services to the corporate customers
• Responsible for overall management of technical operations for the Division which includes setting strategic direction and objectives
• Establish, maintain, and drive continuous delivery of a technology and support roadmap that significantly elevate, drive, and transform the business of customers
• Provide infrastructure architecture support for internal technical operations and the Project Management Office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field (2.2/Upper Credit Minimum)
• Master’s degree in engineering, MBA or its equivalent preferred
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library and(PMP) Project Management Professional
• certification desirable Network Optimization skill
• At least six (6) years of demonstrable experience in the network and infrastructure operations space
• Application Virtualization such as Oracle, Citrix etc.
