SAP Cash Management Engineer Trainee at Dangote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our SAP Finance team, focusing on S/4HANA Cash Management and Treasury solutions. The trainee will be trained and guided in understanding core business processes related to banking, liquidity, and cash operations, as well as how these are implemented and optimized within SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP S/4HANA Cash Management modules.
• Gain hands-on exposure to Cash Position, Liquidity Forecasting, Bank Account Management (BAM), and Bank Communication Management (BCM).
• Support business users in daily cash operations, bank reconciliations, and liquidity analysis.
• Participate in data validation, testing, and user training activities during system implementation or enhancements.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Treasury, IT) to document business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Learn and assist in setting up Fiori applications related to Cash Management (e.g., Manage Bank Accounts, Cash Position, Liquidity Forecast, Bank Statement Monitor).
• Support master data management (house banks, bank accounts, business partners) and integration with other modules (FI, CO, TRM).
• Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) and prepare test documentation.
• Assist in reporting and analytics for treasury dashboards using SAP Fiori and embedded analytics.

Skills and Competencies:

• Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and treasury processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP knowledge preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with business and IT teams.
• Eagerness to learn SAP S/4HANA Financials and Treasury solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields
• OR
• B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) with interest in IT-enabled financial processes.
