• Responsible for carrying out source code reviews for applications to be deployed within the business

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Information Security, vulnerability management, web application security.
• Strong background in application security, including devices such as firewalls, VPN, intrusion/extrusion detection, vulnerability & risk assessment tools, encryption technologies, virus/worm/malware prevention, E-business and web application technologies, Data Loss Prevention, whole disk & device encryption solutions, two-factor authentication, common Windows (desktop & server) platforms,
• Knowledge of source code security including SAST & DAST practices and scanning solutions such as Veracode, SonarQube.
• Working knowledge of web application vulnerability scanners such as Acunetix, Webscarab, Netsparker, BurpSuite, IronWASP.
• Knowledge of network scanning tools such as Nessus, Nexpose.
• Knowledge of security best practices such as defense in-depth, least privileges, need-to-know, separation of duties, access controls, encryption, SSO.
• Experience with various languages and frameworks including, JAVA, Python, C, C#, and network monitoring tools.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and API security.

Purpose

The role will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the EA & PMO area whose mission is to move IT closer to the business, build a trustworthy relationship between IT and the different business units, and transform IT into a tool for developing and executing the business. The responsible Project Manager within the IHS Group will make sure that each assigned project is delivered on time within budget and scope. With high quality and in accordance with the project goals. The overall goal of the role is to coordinate the delivery of the project with the different Business Stakeholders (Business Owners, Customers) and IT units (BPMs, EA, Infrastructure, Application Managers, QA, etc.). The role requires frequent travel to Dubai and other IHS markets for long and short stays depending on the Project's needs.

Job Purpose

Responsible for IT Buy to Pay Process (PR, PO & Invoice); source input data for budget preparation, track IT spend, and first-level analysis of IT finance across IT Group.

Responsibilities

• Initiate IT purchase requisition (PR) for generation of purchase order (PO) Group-wide
• Monitor budget while raising purchase requisitions to ensure proposed spends by IT Teams are within the planned budget with appropriate approvals
• Verification, submission (where applicable) and receipting of vendor invoices for timely processing then payment
• Source and collate needed input data for preparation and compilation of yearly budget
• Maintain budget repository (entity and group) for appropriate versioning and control
• Maintain IT Spend Tracker to and provide dashboard report for performance analysis
• Work closely with the internal stakeholder teams to prepare plus consolidate all budget requests, business cases and justification for IT initiatives
• Provide input data and first level analysis for Entity and Group financial performance in ensuring weekly as well as monthly dashboard reporting
• Provide accurate reports such as trends and summaries across all financial matters including variance analysis, accruals and other ad-hoc analysis as may be required
• Provide appropriate support to the IT Vendor Management Team on invoice related matters for timely information and resolution where required
• Provide appropriate inputs into IT vendor catalogue and repository
• Collaborate with IT units and capabilities to track all contracts and licenses due for timely renewal to ensure no outage or disruption due to expiration
• Provide inputs for development of Team’s policies, processes, and procedures
• Perform other IT Finance functions as assigned by Line Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 - 8 years of engagement role in IT or related environment around finance management, budget management and vendor management  
• Demonstrated ability to source, collate, process, analyze and report, on vendor and budget related data
• Demonstrated ability to relate with suppliers especially in resolving conflicts
• Ability to utilize ERP application as well as other tools for tracking plus analysis
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other analytical discipline (Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Applied Sciences, Engineering or related field)

Tender Management and Category Strategy: This role involves developing and executing tenders while adhering to SOP and procurement policies. It also includes formulating and implementing category strategies to enhance procurement efficiency on an annual basis.

Documentation and Governance: Ensuring comprehensive documentation and governance for all procurement processes is crucial. This entails conducting due diligence to maintain compliance with RFx and other procurement SOPs and policies. Documentation of all decisions and approval in place and available for review and per SOP for audit and forensic investigations.

Innovation and Cost Savings: The Sourcing Specialist actively seeks opportunities for innovation and cost savings in procurement processes and strives to optimize procurement activities for cost efficiency. Creation and achievement of cost optimisation and cost reduction strategies.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with stakeholders to define procurement needs, support scope creation, and create Cross-Functional Sourcing Teams (CFST) as necessary. Obtaining approvals and signoffs as required by SOP.

Sourcing Strategies: Providing input to Senior Management for developing sustainable sourcing strategies.

Supplier Selection and Evaluation: Awarding work to suppliers based on established processes and criteria, and soliciting and evaluating supplier quotes based on quality, timeliness, and cost.

Negotiation and Total Cost Analysis: Leading negotiations with suppliers while considering the total cost of ownership and analyzing RFx documents to make recommendations.

Market Analysis and Intelligence: Staying informed about economic, industrial, and market trends affecting procurement and applying market intelligence for competitive and value-added sourcing outcomes.

Quality and Cost Savings: The role focuses on delivering quality and cost savings through strategic procurement activities and analyzing market conditions for material availability.

Purchase Order Management: Reviewing and monitoring requisitions, purchase orders, and supply sources, and maintaining accurate purchasing data.

Supplier Relationship Management: Supporting the SRM team in managing and controlling relationships with suppliers, identifying areas for improvement, and researching potential new suppliers.

Supply Chain Performance: Monitoring open purchase orders for timeliness, addressing potential issues, and collaborating with shipments expeditors for on-time delivery.

Communication and Liaison: Maintaining ongoing communication with suppliers, acting as a liaison when necessary, and collaborating with Procurement Business Partners to implement requirements and SLAs in formal contracts.

Compliance and Process Improvement: Implementing compliance requirements as per SOP, across procurement categories and continuously improving systems and processes for enhanced customer performance and reduced costs.

Additional Tasks: This role involves various responsibilities, including managing all sourcing processes, negotiating savings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting cross-functional teams.

Key Role Functions: The Sourcing Specialist plays a pivotal role in high-value sourcing activities, assesses requisitions, handles vendor selection, manages vendor requests, provides support on contracts and procurement services, prepares tenders, negotiates with suppliers, executes contracts, ensures health and safety compliance, and reports to management on project progress and performance.

Qualifications

Over 7 years of experience in energy procurement and renewables, with relevant degrees in Chemical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or Environmental Sciences.
