    Duty Agent - Owerri

    Job role

    The Duty Agent is primarily responsible for managing check- in queue and ensuring customers get service promptly for all bookings & check- in related activities. This role reports to Duty Officer

    • Answer inquiries regarding Green Africa Products
    • Educate and enlighten customer on the new and existing products of the company
    • Provide customers with travel suggestions and information sources and respond to enquiries
    • Inform customers of essential travel information, such as travel times, operating terminal etc
    • Fully trained on all aspects of Ticketing, fares, passenger services and Customer Relations
    • Responsible for post-departure activities and front-line document
    • Always seek to secure Customer Loyalty by providing exceptional service
    • Resolution of Customer problems and ensuring that customers’ needs are met adequately
    • Book reservations and issue tickets to customers if there is a requirement
    • Plan route and compute ticket cost, using schedules and computer
    • Make ticket booking, quote fare, and send to direct customers by email
    • Prepare and forward daily sales report to the gLead at every close of shift
    • Prepare customer invoices and accept payment
    • Respond to enquiries
    • Determines whether space is available on travel dates requested by customer
    • Maintain accurate records and update PNR files
    • Any other duties and functions assigned by the gLeads Airport Manager/ Duty Manager

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in any related field

    Brand Marketing Specialist

    Job role

    • Support the Brand Marketing Lead in planning and executing strategic brand marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
    • Implement experiential and face-to-face brand activations that reflect Green Africa’s values and enhance customer affinity.
    • Translate approved marketing strategies into actionable communication and promotional activities.
    • Develop, write, and edit marketing content, including press releases, website copy, social media updates, speeches, and other materials that communicate Green Africa’s brand story.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and the Brand Marketing Lead to manage media relations, press conferences, and information requests.
    • Ensure brand consistency across digital and offline marketing channels.
    • Support the organization and execution of promotional events and campaigns to positively represent the company.
    • Monitor key trends, prepare competitive analysis reports, and share insights to inform brand strategy.
    • Collaborate with partner agencies (Creative, PR, Media, etc.) and vendors to execute campaigns, promotional events, and production of branded merchandise.
    • Track and evaluate campaign performance metrics to support continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, corporate communications, or public relations.
    • Experience executing marketing campaigns and brand activations (aviation or service-oriented industries are an advantage).
    • Excellent communication, writing, and content creation skills.
    • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media management.

    Manager, Airport ServicesTraining and Procedures

    Job role

    The overall responsibility of the Airport Services Training and Procedures is to oversee and manage Airport services function, the appropriate processes, procedures, and requirements for the initial and recurrent training of all internal and external personnel who perform operational duties and functions within the scope of airport service operations. Carry out day-to-day oversight of the activities of Green Africa Airport Management Team.

    • To manage and ensure safe, efficient, and timely airport operations.
    • Coordinate with all Airport Services Vendors and ensure compliance with SLA.
    • Regular liaison with Management of Handling Agents and other service suppliers to identify problems areas and find solution to them.
    • Close oversight on the Airport Operations by ensuring Green Africa image reputation and customer service levels are maintained and enhanced to the highest standards.
    • Implement and periodically review strategy to ensure that Green Africa airport staff fulfil all procedures, standards, and instruction as stated in the Ground Services Manual.
    • To oversee the management and control of data, processes, procedures, and appropriate, current and relevant documentation within the scope of Ground Handling.
    • To ensure the retention and dissemination of documentation received from external sources.

    Qualifications

    • A graduate of university degree level or equivalent in any field of study.
    • At least 5 years’ industry experience in a related role with experience of supervising and managing people.
    • Must possess relevant training skills and certification.
    • Ability to multi-task and make critical decision.
    • Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Project and working knowledge of computer-based operation tools is a must.
    • Must have a comprehensive understanding of IATA practices.
    • In-depth knowledge of management practices within the Airline Industry will be an added advantage.
