    Backend Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Integration of user facing elements developed by front end developers with serve side logic.
    • Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle.
    • Build high quality reusable code libraries for future implementation.
    • Implementing security structures and its best practices
    • Conceptualizing and implementing data storage solutions
    • Maintain server stability with zero downtime.
    • Configuring the backend usability for all frontend applications
    • Improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
    • Work with product and design teams to understand end user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
    • Writing clean scalable and efficient codes
    • Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.
    • Routinely inspect server code for speed optimization
    • Attend regular meetings with the frontend team to expose weakness and problems.
    • Stay up to date with current best practices.
    • Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.

    The ideal candidate must have;

    • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
    • Proven work experience as a backend developer
    • Experienced with software engineering best practices
    • In-depth understanding of data structures and other computer science fundamentals
    • Fluency or understanding of specific languages such as Java, PHP, or Python, Ruby, JavaScript, .Net and Database/Operating systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Produce well researched content for publication online and print
    • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/brand
    • Produce content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers

    Digital Performance and CRM Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, and paid ads
    • Focus on campaign-specific results, and drive the marketing department’s commercial performance
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against ROI and KPIs
    • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights
    • Develop strategies to ensure that campaigns reach their target audience as effectively as possible

    The ideal candidate must;

    • Have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in strategy and planning of paid ads and email marketing, preferably within a marketing/agency environment
    • Be a passionate paid ads marketing expert that has seep understanding of the digital marketing landscape
    • You are constantly curious about customers: Have a deep understanding of customer behaviour across all media channels and an eye on the future to ensure Busha is always at the forefront of change
    • Be a confident digital native with proven strategic planning ability across all digital channels and platforms (social, display, video, PPC etc) understanding the roles each plays within the consumer journey
    • A strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. Always ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done
    • Proven ability to craft media planning strategies and activations that have delivered YoY growth
    • Proven track record for managing funds for ad spends

    SEO Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with the Head of Growth on our link-building strategy to drive increases in domain authority across our different domains.
    • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis
    • Daily monitor key SEO and business KPIs
    • Manage our team of writers and execute content briefs for our blog & website
    • Manage our local SEO and GMB strategy
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in search engine optimization
    • Own reporting and analysis of performance metrics and regularly share them with the greater team
    • Help promote SEO awareness and best practices across the organization including educating stakeholders
