Copy Writer at Busha Digital LTD

Responsibilities:

• Produce well researched content for publication online and print
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/brand
• Produce content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Complete writing projects following content requirement in terms of style and project specifications
• Optimize articles for SEO and accessibility
• Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics
• Edit content to ensure voice, grammar and style is on point
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Compose product descriptions to promote our products and services
• Monitor and analyse the performance of KPIs to offer suggestions for improvement
• Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content
• Follow editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content team to ensure timely delivery of materials

Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of prior experience working in SEO
• Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
• Impeccable grasp of the English language, and current trends in slangs and expressions
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Hands on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Understanding of search engine optimization best practices
• Excellent writing and editing skills
