    Project Management Consultant (LNG Project)

    • The PMC will be responsible for managing all technical, engineering, and coordination functions for the LNG project.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong academic and professional background in Gas and Process Engineering, with extensive experience managing large-scale energy infrastructure projects from pre-development through execution planning and implementation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Facilitate the identification of preferred technology and engagements with plant manufacturers and OEMs for technical evaluation and selection.
    • Provide strategic project management leadership and guidance on all technical, engineering, and development matters.
    • Manage and integrate project timelines across the LNG plant, gas supply pipeline and LNG delivery virtual pipeline facility, to ensure synergy and risk mitigation.
    • Lead the development of work packages based on preferred development and contracting strategy as well as lead the selection and supervision of pre-development, EPC, and non-EPC contractors.
    • Coordinate with engineering consultants, environmental experts, permitting specialists, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and compliance.
    • Develop and oversee project documentation, including feasibility reports, preliminary designs, execution roadmaps, risk registers, and stakeholder maps.
    • Provide interface management among multiple work streams (engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, commercial, etc.).
    • Facilitate value engineering, constructability reviews, and risk analysis.
    • Advise EZM executive management through the Project Steering Committee (PSC) on key project decisions, budgeting, and timelines.
    • Establish a project control framework including scope, time, cost, and quality management systems.
    • Provide mentorship to internal project staff and act as a bridge between (PMC) and project consultants and professional advice.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical, gas processing specialization preferred).
    • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in engineering and project management roles.
    • At least 10 years of experience in gas-related infrastructure projects, such as LNG plants or gas processing.
    • Proven track record in managing pre-development and engineering, procurement and construction phases.
    • Experience coordinating with international engineering firms, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership and coordination abilities in multi-stakeholder environments.
    • Deep understanding of gas infrastructure projects, technical standards, environmental permitting, and commercial interfaces.
    • Excellent risk management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
    • Ability to produce and present high-level reports and strategic recommendations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with public and private stakeholders

    Salary
    N2,000,000 - N3,000,000 Monthly.

    Project Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the exploitation and field operations of its gold mining sites in Kogi State, Nigeria.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the mine, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing strategies to minimize or regulate the activities of illegal miners while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • The Project Manager will work closely with the Head, Metallic Mining Department, to achieve the company's objectives of mining Gold in proven sections of the license area as well as sourcing gold from local miners while maintaining a positive relationship with the community.

    Key Responsibilities
    Project Planning and Execution:

    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful mine operations.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, including local miners, community leaders, and regulatory bodies.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

    Mine Operations Management:

    • Oversee the exploitation and field operations of the mine, including gold production, processing, and transportation.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure the quality of gold produced.
    • Manage the relationship with local miners, providing incentives and support to encourage them to operate safely and to sell their gold to Etazuma.

    Regulation of Illegal Miners:

    • Develop and implement strategies to regulate the activities of illegal miners operating within the license area.
    • Work with local authorities and community leaders to establish a framework for cooperation and compliance.
    • Ensure that the company's approach to regulating illegal miners is consistent with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with local communities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure that the company's operations are aligned with the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
    • Manage conflicts and disputes with stakeholders, working to resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.

    Reporting and Communication:

    • Provide regular reports to the EC through the Head, Metallic Mining Department, on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including local miners, community leaders, and regulatory bodies.
    • Develop and implement a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about the company's operations and plans.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in mining operations, project management, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or a Certified Mining Professional, are desirable
    • Knowledge of Nigerian mining regulations and industry best practices
