    Head of Finance

    Job Description

    • Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting.
    • Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the company to make critical business decisions
    • Presentation of financial results and insights to the Board.
    • Play a key role in the formulation of the business's strategy.
    • Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice.
    • Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
    • Managing hedging and foreign currencies (if relevant)
    • Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards
    • Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements.
    • Managing relationships with Investors (where applicable).
    • Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systemsInvestment appraisal and analysis
    • Presenting results to non-finance people to understand.
    • Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of accountant in the company.
    • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
    • Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place.
    • Overseeing commercial decision making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis etc
    • Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs.
    • Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations.
    • Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND qualification.
    • At least 8 years work experience.

    Business Development Officer

    Job Description

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities at B2B channel by promoting products/Services to new and existing Clients.
    • Develop and manage new and existing clients by providing high caliber of service, explore and identify all their needs.
    • Approach new businesses with proposals.
    • Manage and maintain sales / clients database.
    • Establish & maintain efficient relationship with new and existing clients.
    • Generate new business opportunities in assigned territory / channel.
    • Create proposals for target clients with relevant info and quotes.
    • Manage clients’ / projects’ receivables and cash collections in light of present financial KPI.
    • Ensure clients have positive experience by communicating effectively pre and post deal process
    • To identify & develop new business opportunities in B2B channel.
    • To act effectively as team player with company management / colleagues taking proactive role in improving overall company performance.
    • To establish / build long term efficient relationship with clients in targeted channel / market
    • Manage customers’ needs / expectation in line of company guidelines to ensure win / win relation

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in any field.
    • Must have minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
    • Team player with leadership capability.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to seek and develop new relationships.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good presentation skills.

    Team Lead, Business Development

    Description 

    • We are looking to hire an experienced Sales and Business Development Officer to help us build an effective sales force and drive sales performance. We require a strong ability to sell, and experience in developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy to achieve growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies, play books, sales presentation and materials for the business, asides other initiatives as may be necessary.
    • Generate new leads, close existing leads and upsell current customers under business customers.
    • Sync with other business divisions as may be necessary towards rates negotiations, customer onboarding, product adoption and general business operations and fulfillment.
    • Support the Growth Lead with ideation and designing of business development plans and strategies.
    • Maintain and report accurate records on leads/prospects, conversions, business goals
    • Any other sales activities

    Requirements

    • Minimum BSc educational qualification, industry-specific BSc or relevant certification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 8 years of proven sales and business development experience
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Initiative, drive, entrepreneurial skills and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
    • Expertise in designing and optimizing sales funnels and familiarity with CRM tools.
    • The candidate must reside in Ibadan
