    Human Resource Manager

    Location: Lagos Mainland

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for an experienced professional with the experience and capacity to develop and implement strategic HR services at a client’s office.
    • Ideal Candidate must have experience in core HR functions including (but not limited to) Payroll Management, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development and Employee Engagement, etc.
    • He/she must possess prior experience in starting up and managing a Human Resource department.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, initiate and implement all Human Resource programs and projects and also provide
    • required feedback on all Human Resource strategies and monitor performance of all new programs.
    • Create and implement a standard operating procedure (SOP) to include compensation approvals (payroll & cycle approvals), and recruitment processes etc.
    • Develop and implement organizational chart, Job profiles and HR Budgets.
    • Develop an employee handbook of policies to include vacation policy, sick policy, time off policy, grievance policy, annual performance reviews etc.
    • Formulate strategic and practical plans for new hire onboarding/induction and background checks.
    • Prepare annual staffing plans and projections.
    • Develop training plans for all employees
    • Help establish control systems for compliance with business methods and HR practices
    • Devise plans and techniques to drive change and culture management.

    Skills

    • Good communication skills with exceptional people management and consulting skills.
    • Must possess strong project management and presentation skills.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc. Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management or related discipline.
    • Min of 4 years Cognate Experience (with at least 3 years prior experience in consulting).
    • Professional certification is an added advantage (i.e., CIPM, CIPD)
    • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
    • Must be a high performer requiring minimal supervision in order to deliver individually and inspire results from team members.

    Recruitment Analyst

    Key Responsibilities

    • Timely hire of quality candidates
    • Full execution of the recruitment process (including job posting, screening of applications, scheduling interviews, job interviewing, regular communication with candidates and requesting managers/departments) including the recruitment administration
    • Manage posting of job vacancies at the best performing recruitment channels (responsiveness, quality and costs)
    • Develop a steady pool of quality internal and external talents
    • Explore new recruitment channels and give recommendations to Recruitment Manager
    • Preparation of weekly manpower report and quarterly recruitment plan
    • Coordinate the conduct of orientation and induction for new hires
    • Prompt setting of new hires on the attendance system and provision of all appropriate work tools upon resumption
    • Report the progress on assigned job vacancies on the regular basis, communicates early warnings and provide the regular feedback about the performance of the recruitment process
    • Get involved in both HR department and Company –wide innovative initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of BSc in human resources or related field
    • Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ working experience
    • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
    • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as meet deadlines.
    • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
    • Proven skills in database management and record keeping
    • Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills

    NMC Engineer

    Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

    Job Description

    • Perform network surveillance 24/7, respond to network‐reported and customer‐reported problems and manage problem resolution using network monitoring/management tools. Take ownership to ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Escalate problems to third level support (Problem management team) where these cannot be resolved within the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
    • Perform general “system administration” tasks on all elements of the network.
    • Perform documented network configuration procedures.
    • Pro‐actively monitor network and system performance. Analyze traffic data and trends and escalate areas of concern to officer on duty
    • Through pro‐active and systematic review, discover problem areas which could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction.
    • Provide scheduled and on‐demand traffic analysis reports.
    • Maintains inventory of equipment acquisitions, installations, designs, and modifications.
    • Generate weekly and monthly reports on diesel delivery/consumption and Monitor generator capacity and mileage.
    • Monitors the Network Monitoring System and responds to and addresses system generated alerts as needed
    • Monitors and ensures the stability of the network infrastructure hosting Network Monitoring System
    • Facilities maintenance (monitoring and management of air-conditioning, UPS, generators, power usage, running health and safety and housekeeping checks at POPs).
    • Optimizes network performance and clients service delivery meeting

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in Computer Science / Engineering or other related Course.
    • 2+ years’ experience as network engineer preferable in an ISP/Telco environment.
    • Self‐motivated and capable of working in a cross‐functional team.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills, good telephone manner.
    • Practical, accurate and precise.
    • Good knowledge of enterprise‐class IP infrastructure (routers/switches/firewalls).
    • Experience of network management.
    • Good knowledge of networking equipment administration.
    • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification.
    • Confident in MS office applications (particularly Excel).
    • Able to work on a 24/7 shift Rotation and available for weekend/public holiday
    • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the technical requirements
    • Solid troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency.
