    Procurement Buyer & Expediter

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and finalize Inquiry Bidder Lists (IBL), including identification of new suppliers.
    • Manage end-to-end procurement cycle: PR to PO, PO issuance, delivery follow-up, vendor payment, and PO closure.
    • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and Incoterms with local and international suppliers.
    • Track supplier manufacturing and delivery schedules; ensure expediting of critical materials to meet project timelines.
    • Coordinate logistics, shipment schedules, and vendor documentation for timely delivery.
    • Support annual budget planning, demand forecasting, and rate contract/framework agreement setup.
    • Collaborate with PPM, engineering, logistics, and project teams on procurement execution and vendor performance.
    • Lead assigned procurement categories to ensure cost, quality, and schedule targets are achieved.

    Must-Have Criteria

    • Proven experience in Buyer / Senior Buyer / Lead Buyer roles with logistics exposure.
    • Solid supplier management experience with international vendors.
    • EPC, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or industrial project procurement background preferred.

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, and expediting.
    • Good knowledge of Incoterms, international trade terms, and supplier logistics coordination.
    • Experience handling global suppliers across multiple engineering categories.
    • Strong technical understanding of project materials/equipment procurement.
    • Excellent negotiation and market intelligence capability.

    Senior Electrical Construction Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise construction, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment including transformers, GIS / AIS switchgear, CTs, PTs, circuit breakers, isolators, relays, and protection panels.
    • Review electrical drawings, SLDs, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications for substation projects.
    • Coordinate design and execution of power, control, protection, SCADA, and auxiliary systems within substations.
    • Monitor cable laying, termination, testing, and energization of HV / MV systems.
    • Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, utility standards, and project-specific technical requirements.
    • Coordinate with civil, OEM, protection, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical works.
    • Support FAT, SAT, testing, relay coordination, and commissioning activities.
    • Troubleshoot installation and operational issues during construction and commissioning phases.
    • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and as - built records.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
    • 8 – 15 years of experience in high - voltage substation projects, including 33kV, 132kV, and 330kV systems.
    • Strong experience in GIS / AIS substations, protection systems, and switchyard equipment installation.
    • Knowledge of transformers, relay protection schemes, SCADA integration, and substation automation systems.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or other electrical engineering software is an advantage.
    • Experience in testing and commissioning of transmission and distribution substations preferred.

    Legal Manager - Corporate Commercial

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and negotiate EPCC contracts and commercial agreements (JV, technology licensing, financing, offtake, procurement, services, etc.).
    • Provide legal advisory on transaction structuring and regulatory compliance.
    • Support contract implementation, governance, and risk management processes.
    • Handle negotiations with partners, vendors, customers, and regulators.
    • Support mediation and arbitration proceedings when required.
    • Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities.
    • Present legal matters clearly to business executives in practical terms.
    • Knowledge of FIDIC is necessary.

    Qualifications

    • LL.B. Degree from a reputable Nigerian or international university.
    • Qualified member of a Bar (Nigeria, UK, USA, etc.).
    • Postgraduate qualification in Oil & Gas, Commercial Law, or Contract Law is an advantage.
    • Exposure to international law firms and UK/US commercial law is desirable.

    Key Requirements:

    • 8–12 years’ experience as a Contracts & Procurement / Commercial Lawyer, preferably in large EPCC projects ($100M+).
    • Experience in international contracts and import of capital goods/materials.
    • Preferably with Oil & Gas (Downstream), Petrochemicals, Fertilisers, LNG project exposure.
    • Strong expertise in commercial contracts, risk management, regulatory compliance, and contract governance.
    • Excellent drafting, negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage claims, change orders, liquidated damages, warranties, guarantees, financing, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
    • Business-oriented approach with focus on risk mitigation and litigation avoidance.
