We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will lead all our marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects and run our Marketing unit in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness.
The Marketing Manager will lead a team of analysts, digital and social media specialists and designers. She/he will be ultimately responsible for "baby-sitting" and establishing the SeamlessHR brand, both internally (with respect to SOPs and company culture) and externally, mining and refining customer marketing data and analytics on a continuous basis, allocating resources to projects and campaigns and setting short and long-term departmental goals.
This role will supervise marketing across our pan-African markets (West, East and North Africa).

Responsibilities
- Lead the crafting of strategies for all marketing activities, including digital, advertising, communications and creative
- Identify the key metrics for growth and operational efficiency and diligently mine, track, interpret and report them to management and board.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the marketing department
- Set, monitor and report on departmental goals, KPIs and objectives
- Oversee the execution of branding, marketing and pricing strategies
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (i.e. events, email and other digital campaigns, web pages and promotional material etc.)
- Coordinate marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Be responsible for integrating the brand key vision (such things as tone of voice, personality, brand archetypes etc.) into the company culture.
- Enforce company-wide adoption of brand standards and style guides e.g. in day-to-day activities and product design.
- Analyze consumer behavior, determine and refine customer personas.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
Requirements
- Work experience as head of marketing or marketing manager within our industry or related field or in a marketing agency.
- Experience running successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- A good grasp of marketing strategy development and execution
- Solid knowledge of web analytics and the full panel of Google (and comparable) digital marketing offerings (at least at a top level).
- Experience with CRM and CRM software
- Mastery of email marketing
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
- Good grasp of numbers and data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of your primary product and a basic knowledge of other secondary products
- Demonstrate expertise in verbal communication
- Demonstrate expertise in written communication especially in business and technical writing

You will be responsible for improving existing sales programs, developing short and long-term sales strategies, hiring and leading a “star sales team” and monitoring and clinching key sales metrics.
This is a senior management sales role in SaaS and internet Technology in a fast-growing pan-African start-up. You will have the free hand and autonomy to shape your team and execute your sales and go-to-market strategy within the ambits of the overall culture and corporate strategy of the company.
Responsibilities
- Review current sales strategies, SOPs and conversations to improve and upgrade them for better outcomes, faster and more profitable conversion.
- Develop and execute a pan-African go-to-market strategy for all our revenue heads.
- Lead and manage the sales team.
- Manage the sales cycle, optimize the different stages, mine and track the key metrics (as well as operational metrics) and report them.
- Develop an efficient pricing strategy for the different market segments and product lines.
- Execute key sales and distribution partnerships.
- Take full responsibility for the achievement of the company’s aggressive sales targets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align plans and co-execute on lead generation.

Requirements
- A bachelor or master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- At least 8 years’ cognate experience in sales with at least 2 of this as a sales leader or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in a SaaS, hardware, internet technology or related company.
- Be a natural salesperson.
- Demonstrable mastery of negotiation skills on deals within our ticket size range.
- Above average knowledge of the Tech sector globally and particularly in Nigeria and Africa.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing go-to-market and sales strategies.
- A relevant rolodex, i.e we expect you to come to this role with previous contacts and relationships built over your career that will be relevant to your work here.
- Experience in sales across more than one African country is a nice-to-have, but not a necessary requirement.
- Experience and/or ability to lead a high performing sales team.
- Excellent communication skill; verbal and written.
- Excellent networking skills.
