We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Procurement Intern to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. The ideal candidate must be smart and possess good negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services.
• Support procurement officers in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers.
• Aid in the preparation of purchase orders and documentation for procurement activities.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information.
• Help monitor inventory levels and track delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support as required.
• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve procurement processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Smart, proactive, and eager to learn with a strong desire to pursue a career in procurement.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
