The Business and Sales Officer will work closely with the rest of the team in CX, Support, Finance, and Admin in achieving organization's targets for growth, sales, expansion, and revenue.
Responsibilities
Implement Sales Strategy
Write Proposals and attend Business meetings/seminars.
Research and apply for grants and investor funding to scale the business
Close sales leads as provided by the rest of the team
Share insight and industry reports
Monitor all industry trends
Reach Out to communities and partnerships that will support the organization's growth.
Convert data to traction and sales
Conduct market sales research and surveys
Identifying and contacting potential clients through networking and marketing methods
Developing new sales areas and markets
Planning and directing marketing or advertising campaigns
Collaborating with sales departments and other teams to meet targets
Hiring, training, and managing junior salespeople, market researchers, copywriters, and other employees
Creating sales presentations for potential clients
Managing contracts
Addressing client complaints or concerns
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
3 - 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience in the tech industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
Fluency in French and English
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to plan and organize sales presentations, meetings, marketing strategies, and more.
