• We are seeking a competent and knowledgeable Bid and Proposal Manager to join our team. As a Bid and proposal Manager, you will identify potential bid submission opportunities, createbid-winning strategies, conduct research, develop and submit technical and commercial bids and proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, lead procurement activities as needed, and collaborate with other team members to ensure successful bid out comes. You must be able to create compelling proposals while staying within budget and deadlines.
• Ideal candidates should have a sound understanding of the upstream oil and gas industry, be technically sound, and be able to communicate and negotiate with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify bid submission opportunities
• Prepare and submit competitive technical and commercial bids
• Conduct research and brainstorm key points to include in the bid
• Strategically source to support bid proposals
• Craft persuasive and detailed proposals
• Perform risk assessments and address issues and concerns appropriately
• Ensure all bid deadlines are met Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Keep track of all costs and manage budgets.
• Work closely with project managers and senior personnel.
• Conduct team briefings once bids have been secured.
• Review RFQ/RFP received from existing or prospective clients, manage & assign tasks according to priorities.
• Lead bid overview meetings with sales managers, technical consultants & operations to set bid strategy and preparation guidelines.
• Manage all supplier and partner agreements renewals and contracts.
• Supervise all internal and external communication to guarantee daily tasks and assignments are consistently responded to in a timely manner.
• Track all ordering activities with suppliers/vendors to meet delivery deadlines, improve overall margin, and maintain it in line with the company’s profit plan.
• Price and contract negotiations to ensure competitiveness and commercial advantage.
• Support the finance department in invoicing-related matters to avoid delays in payment receipt from clients.
• Manage the procurement process.

Job Requirements / Qualifications
Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in bids and tenders, project procurement, and executing contracts in key industries, 2 of which must be at the managerial level.
• Substantial experience in packaging and submitting competitive and successful technical and commercial bids for upstream activities related to drilling services, engineering services, technical assistance, and other related upstream engineering services.
• Vast experience in packaging NIPEX-level bids
• Very strong experience in the sourcing process

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of NUPRC, NIPEX, and NCDMB licensing and permitting processes
• Relevant training and certifications in bids, tenders, procurement, and supply chain management is an advantage
• Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities

Job Summary

• The Graduate Trainees are to participate in personal or group training within a period of 2months with various departments after which they will be fully placed to perform specified duties pertaining to the assigned departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative duties.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial bids.
• Assist in responding to RFQs.
• Work with the business development management team to ensure consistent and rapid growth in all the company's business segments.
• Responsible for digital marketing and social media management
