    Branch Manager

    Locations: Gonin Gora, Kaduna and Kabuga, Kano 
    Employment Type: Full-time

    Role Description

    We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Branch Managers to join our team in Kaduna, Kwara, Abuja( Gwagwalada) and Kano. This is a full-time, on-site role with responsibilities centered around:

    • Coordinating and managing the activities of Relationship Officers.
    • Driving overall branch performance, including loan disbursement, collection rates, and default management.
    • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure retention and renewals.
    • Overseeing loan disbursement and ensuring repayment targets are met.
    • Verifying customer businesses and assessing loan eligibility based on business inventories.
    • Providing exceptional customer service while meeting or exceeding branch performance targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Acquire new customers for loan disbursement.
    • Verify customers’ businesses and determine appropriate loan amounts.
    • Manage and monitor loan repayment collections.
    • Lead sales activities to achieve and surpass assigned targets.
    • Deliver exceptional service that aligns with NEAT Microcredit's standards.
    • Analyze branch performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Strong business relationship management and communication skills.
    • Expertise in finance, sales, and target-driven roles.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
    • Proven customer service skills and a passion for addressing client needs.
    • Ability to lead a team while working independently when required.
    • Experience in the microfinance or banking sector is highly desirable.
    • Flexibility and willingness to relocate as required.
    • Expertise on Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook etc)

    Human Resource Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Assist in sourcing and shortlisting candidates for open positions.
    • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
    • Prepare and distribute offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.

    Staff Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital.
    • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Regularly update the HR database with employee details, contracts, and performance records.

    Appraisals and Performance Management:

    • Support the implementation of the company’s performance appraisal process.
    • Assist in tracking employee performance metrics and compiling appraisal reports.
    • Provide administrative support in the development of performance improvement plans (PIPs).

    General HR Support:

    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in organizing training programs and staff development initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • At least 1 - 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the microfinance or financial services industry.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and performance management systems is an advantage.
