    Buyer / Procurement Expediter

    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer / Procurement Expediter to support project procurement activities by managing purchasing processes and expediting vendor deliveries to meet project schedules. The role requires strong coordination with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant procurement of materials and services.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Execute purchase orders in line with approved requisitions, budgets, and procurement procedures.
    • Expedite vendor deliveries to ensure materials and equipment meet project timelines.
    • Follow up with suppliers on order status, production progress, inspections, and shipment schedules.
    • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and project teams to ensure timely receipt of goods.
    • Track procurement milestones and maintain accurate expediting and delivery reports.
    • Resolve supplier delays, shortages, and non-conformances in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Ensure procurement documentation (POs, delivery notes, certificates) is complete and compliant.
    • Support vendor evaluation, performance tracking, and supplier relationship management.
    • Liaise with finance on invoices, GRNs, and payment processing where required.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • HND / BSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in buying, procurement, or expediting roles (EPC, oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, expediting, and vendor coordination.
    • Experience tracking deliveries, managing lead times, and resolving supply delays.
    • Good understanding of logistics, inspection, and material receiving processes.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
    • Strong communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.

    HSE Engineer

    Job Summary

    To implement, monitor, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards on projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and safe execution of all activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • ​​Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures, and programs for assigned projects
    • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance
    • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, recommending corrective actions
    • Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for project personnel
    • Monitor and report HSE performance, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards
    • Support the preparation of HSE reports for management and clients
    • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all project activities

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Safety, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering
    • NYSC Discharge Certificate.

    Professional Certifications & Licenses​

    • NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / ISO 45001 / IOSH certification (mandatory or advantage)

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years experience in HSE engineering on EPC or construction projects

    • All HSE incidents investigated and reports submitted within 48 hours
    • ≥90% of staff trained on HSE procedures and safety awareness

    Working Conditions

    • Active construction site environment (Onshore/Offshore).
    • Exposure to weather elements.
